If you're interested in patrol duty, let me know if you've got a preference for night or daytime shifts and I'll try to get you where you want to be. I know there's a patrol unit set to work over at Mount Weather, so if that's where you're going, you'll have to check there on who to answer to. But if Camp Jaha is where you want to work, you'll answer to me.

Everyone would've been advised that the Chancellor was making a public speech and they would've been encouraged to attend. For those who were at Mount Weather or who were being ~rebels~ and chose not to attend the speech, this post is the transcript of that speech.)

Good Afternoon, everyone. It's been four months since the first Outsiders began to arrive here. We were unequipped to deal with it and they died. So we pulled together and we put our heads together and we did what we could to change that. We've all seen enough death here. For lifetimes. And I'm proud to say that, for the past month, every Outsider that has arrived as survived.

But now we have to pull together again. Our society cannot continue to support how quickly we're expanding - not without the help of these newcomers. So beginning today, all Outsiders, once acclimated, will be put to work. We need workers to help welcome new arrivals, and we need people to help in engineering, medical, food prep, patrol, and daily maintenance. So whatever experience you may have had back home, we can find something for you to do. At this time, no weapons will be issued and no guard positions are available to Outsiders.

This is a society dependent on how well we work together and we need your help so that we can all survive. Thank you in advance for your help.

I'm Bellamy Blake, for those of you who don't know me. I'm a member of the Guard and I'm heading up security for the Outsiders. So if you're new and you've got a problem, don't know where something is, need help, do something wrong or whatever, talk to me.

I'm here to make sure you're settled into Camp and that you don't get yourselves killed. Or kill any of us So if you need a crash course on Earth safety, now would be the time to speak up. I know a lot of you say you're from here, but it sounds like this is nothing like what you're used to.

There are no words for how many levels of bullshit this is.

Get told I need some treatment, tell people to go screw themselves, go outside, nearly die, get dragged in -- I guess thanks, whoever did that -- get the treatment anyway, and now I'm stuck here.

To the Outsiders, I hope you're all settling in. We're doing our best to make sure you have whatever you need. If there is something unique you might require, just let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate. We're here to help and you can trust us.

A few reminders:
- Our gates are locked at sundown every night and we do no open them up again until sunrise. Please be sure you're inside. Our fences are electrified and patrolled by armed guard.
