Challenge #26: New To You

Unspeakable Sins

From the beginning Jane was sure there was something between them, the three Boleyn’s, her husband and his sisters. Even then they were the darlings of the court, golden and shining in the eyes of the King, she suspected them of unspeakable sins.

After their marriage, George remained indecently devoted to his sisters when he ought to have cleaved only to her, his lawful wife. Night after night he forsook her to seek out the company of his precious Annamaria, his beloved Marianne.

Whores, both of them.

Jane knew of only one thing the likes of Mary and Anne Boleyn could give a man, even if he was their own brother.

And so she watched at keyholes and listened in shadows.

One day she would catch them in their sins, in their crimes.

One day they would be regret that they had left her out.
