Astoria couldn't wait for lunch. While it had been a relatively calm day, she didn't really want to deal with the rest of her coworkers and their gossip. The head of the department was away in Belgium for a meeting with an ambassador and the rest of the department took it as an opportunity to slack off and mingle. Although Astoria would have normally played along, she wasn't feeling too social today. When the time came, she got up quickly her seat and swiftly made her way to the lifts. She knew she was being rude, she just didn't care.

Astoria thought about what she wanted to eat as she exited the lift. She could go for something simple, a sandwich perhaps and bring it back to the office. Or she could people watch -- that is always amusing, she thought with a smirk. And Astoria loved to be amused in anyway. Her brisk steps came to a halt in front of the cafe as she folded her arms. She felt unusually indecisive today and was trying to decide whether to even eat there or not when she heard a voice coming from behind her. Astoria turned on her heel to glare at the man. She didn't particularly care that she was being rude by blocking the doorway, instead she was irrationally annoyed that anyone dared to address her in her current mood.
