Who: Rodolphus and Pansy (aka PROD, how awesome is that)
When: Wednesday
Where: The Lestrange estate
What: Rodolphus has some... questions. And things
Rating: TBD

Avoiding people was something Rodolphus did very well. Although he would never admit that he was hiding from a twenty-something year old girl, that was almost exactly what he'd been doing. Oh, if he happened to see Pansy he acted polite, of course.. but he wasn't actively seeking her out. She'd kissed him. It was entirely inappropriate. She was upsetting everything in his life and he was starting to think he was losing what little sanity he'd gotten back. He couldn't want such an insignificant fluff of a girl, could he? Nevermind the fact that he was practically old enough to be her father... she was irritating, and she whined. But he found himself thinking about her more often than not, which was almost more irritating than her actual presence.

Unfortunately, he'd made sort of a promise to her; that she would be given more of a role in his plans. Which meant he couldn't ignore her forever, no matter how much he'd have liked to. Just a few minutes earlier a house elf had been sent to summon her to the study, where he sat waiting, tapping his fingers against the arm of his chair, trying to remain relaxed and aloof.

Pansy Parkinson had decided that she was going to go out tonight. She'd gussied herself up and was about to head out the door when a house-elf had delivered the news that Rodolphus Lestrange had requested her company. Now, Pansy had been pretty put out about the whole running away from her lips ordeal that he'd caused and had done, what she thought, was a good job at avoiding him since.

There was no way that Pansy Parkinson was going to let a man get away with what he'd done and feel proud about it. Or rub it in. So she'd been careful to not run into him at all. But, now she had to see him in order to conduct business. It wasn't going to be an easy task.

Arriving outside of his door, Pansy took a deep breath and looked down at the fancy black dress that she'd bought. It was short, but she'd been hoping to catch the eye of a man who would actually want her. Rodolphus would just have to deal. Without knocking, Pansy entered and took a seat in the chair across from him, crossing her legs. "Yes?"

Rodolphus had come to expect seeing Pansy looking well put together. He might have even gone so far as to say beautiful. But he was completely unprepared for her to enter the study looking sexy. He struggled against a normal reaction, like letting his jaw drop open, and merely raised his eyebrows slightly, nodding at the chair sitting across from his.

"Are you going out?" he asked, feeling rather stupid about the question. The answer was more than obvious, considering she didn't normally dress up quite so much just to meet with him. He supposed he couldn't begrudge her desire to interact with people other than himself, but he still felt a tiny little glimmer of jealousy at the thought.

Pansy eyed the man before giving him a slight nod. "Everyone else seems to get out and about on their own. Meeting other people and what not. I thought I might take a chance and have a bit of fun out on my own." She leaned back in her chair and watched him for a moment.

"Did you need me tonight? I could always change my plans." Not that she really wanted to.

"Don't change your plans on account of me." Rodolphus shook his head, still struggling against that ridiculous jealous feeling. He didn't get jealous. It wasn't an emotion he allowed himself to feel. "You're more than free to go where you wish. Although I do hope you'll have your wand with you at all times? And you'll remember to not let anything about our work here slip out?"

He didn't really doubt her, but he had to be sure she remembered that what they were doing was of the utmost secrecy. If anyone got wind of the fact that the Lestranges were out and about, looking for Hallows and kidnapping innocent people, they would all have to go into deeper hiding. And that would be entirely too difficult for his taste.

"I don't plan to do much talking, actually." Pansy informed Rodolphus with a small smirk as her eyes moved over him. She couldn't help herself. Being cooped up in that house was starting to drive her a bit mental and she needed to get out and have human interaction. A house-elf becoming her best friend was not on.

"You see..." Pansy leaned forward and began to fix herself a cup of tea as it arrived on the table in front of her. "I plan to get shagged, Monsieur Lestrange. The only thing my mouth is required for is..." She smirked. "Well, I'm sure you know."

Rodolphus had absolutely no idea how to respond to what had just come out of her mouth. It wasn't polite conversation, it wasn't relating to work, it wasn't anything he'd been expecting her to say. It was lewd and suggestive.. and he sort of liked it. But it made focusing on a conversation incredibly difficult. And what was he supposed to say to statements like that?

"I.. you... well.." He was stammering, and it was completely unacceptable. He shook his head slightly, and tried again. "I won't keep you here long then," he said, finally managing to string a sentence together. "There are a few plans in motion that I thought perhaps you'd like to take part in."

It was sweet watching Rodolphus stammer like that. She tucked a bit of hair behind her ear and ran her fingertips down her neck as she stared into his eyes, smirking all the while. It was adorable to watch an old man nearly faint from sexual deviancy.

"Plans?" Pansy arched a brow and leaned in. "Please, sir. Do tell me what these plans are. Perhaps more intriguing than my own plans?"

Clearing his throat, Rodolphus resisted the urge to blatantly watch her fingers move down her throat and across the neck of her dress. He felt ridiculously like a much younger man, instead of someone old enough to be her father. He cleared his throat again, folding his hands in his lap.

"The most recent one involves somone I think you have previously been acquainted with," he said, making it sound like he didn't know very well that Pansy had attended Hogwarts with the blood traitor in question. "Rabastan and I are arranging a... conversation, with the Weasley girl. You do know her, don't you?"

The Weasley girl? Pansy hummed as she leaned back with a nod. "Of course I do. Ginny Weasley. Filthy girl, really. She wore slacks instead of her skirts most of the time. Her parents probably couldn't afford to get her her own uniforms."

Pansy folded one leg over the other slowly. "A conversation? What sort of a conversation?"

"The sort of conversation I doubt you'd take very much pleasure in watching, unless I'm much mistaken," Rodolphus said, giving her a dark look. Bellatrix had always been highly amused with torturing others for information, but he wasn't sure that Pansy would enjoy it. Of course, she had managed to surprise him before, so it wasn't out of the question.

"I'm curious as to how much you know about her. Do you think she'll break easily, or will she be a bit of a challenge?" He didn't know much about the scum they were planning on kidnapping, and was hoping Pansy may have a bit more insight. Maybe then there wouldn't be such a mix-up like last time.

"Don't sell me so short, Lestrange." Pansy informed him with the tiniest of frowns. "There are quite a bit of things that I do enjoy that you haven't the faintest idea of."

She gave him a curious look, then shrugged. "She'll definitely be a bit of a challenge. She is part of Harry Potter's gang, of course. And was a part of Dumbledore's Army before they were found out about by myself and the others of the Inquisitorial Squad. Right good with hexes as well."

Rodolphus only nodded, making a note to figure out exactly what sort of things she was talking about. Murder? Torture? Or maybe it was something much more mundane. He was surprised to find himself looking forward to finding out.

"She's a bit more than part of his 'gang' from what I've recently come to understand," Rodolphus remarked, scoffing lightly. He supposed he should be glad, really. Kidnapping Potter's wife would be so much more satisfying than kidnapping someone who was only a friend. "Your knowledge of her skills will be helpful though, I'm sure. Perhaps you'd even like to do a little reconnaissance for us, before we take her?"

"Really? Did they finally get over themselves and marry?" Pansy asked with a bit of intrigue, smirk curling onto her lips. "That will make anything you do much more interesting, won't it?" Part of her hoped that he killed her.

Pansy's eyebrows flew up in surprise at his offer. "You want me to be part of something that important?" She asked, suddenly feeling excited. "Can I torture her as well?"

"Mm, just this past sunday, according to the Daily Prophet." Rodolphus shrugged a bit, not to concerned on the when of the whole affair. "I suppose it will have more of an effect, since they don't have any abhorable children yet." That was a bit of a pity, actually. Torturing people's children always had such a pleasing way of getting him information quickly.

"You might be better suited to tail her for a few days. Less suspicious, at the very least. You'd be in disguise, of course. Knowing the girl's routine will make taking her much easier," he said, feeling the tiniest bit of excitement start to form about the plan. He was genuinely pleased when Pansy asked if she could participate. "We'll see about the torturing part. It's very probable."

The night was shaping up to be a very good one. Pansy was actually going to be allowed to do something that involved more than shifting through old papers. Her pulse quickened and she caught the samll smile that was pulling at the corners of the man's lips.

"This is.. brilliant." Pansy would have squealed for joy if she'd thought he'd allow it. "I won't let you down, sir. I can do this job perfect. I promise."

Rodolphus gave her a rare smile, actually glad she was so excited over the prospect of helping. He was still trying to judge how valuable she could be, and this was another means of testing her. If she did well, it was possible she'd eventually prove to be a great asset. She hadn't been doing terribly so far, but this task was quite a bit more important than going through books and notes.

"I wouldn't let you participate if I thought you weren't capable," he told her, lying just a little. He didn't necessairly doubt her ability.. it was more that he would rather do things himself, when they were important. "You'll need to find out her patterns and routines. When she's alone and easiest to grab. Be sure you're not unable to do so tomorrow. The sooner we can start, the better."

Patterns and routines. Pansy smiled a bit to herself and nodded. She could think of several ways to spy on the both of them. And at that moment she wished she were an animagus.

"Brilliant." Pansy nodded. "Do you happen to have any polyjuice potion?"

Nodding, Rodolphus waved in his hand in the general direction of the cellar. "We have a more than adequate amount of polyjuice potion," he told her, making a note to show her where they stored it tomorrow morning. "I believe just a few simple spells to change your appearance may work better though. They tend to longer lasting, which is something you will benefit from. I wouldn't want you to constantly be taking that foul tasting potion. Or forgetting to take it."

Pansy nodded slowly. "I do know quite a few charms to change my looks." Once, she'd changed her apperance to look like Cho Chang so that Cedric Diggory would snog her. It had worked until the actual Cho Chang had showed up.

"Thank you for having faith in me." Pansy replied as she gazed at him with a small smile. "You have no idea how good it feels to know that someone believes in me."

Rodolphus wasn't used to being thanked for giving orders. The sentiment had him feeling a little uncomfortable, especially since he was considering this more of a test than anything else. Instead of letting her know that, he gave her another tight lipped smile.

"I am sure you'll perform adequately," he told her. His tone clearly meant that she had no other choice but to succeed. Failure would result in extreme punishment.
