The venue is Webster Hall. The entrance hall is dotted with chandeliers, and the sitting area is glamorous, while the dance floor is loud and darkly bright. The upper-level hall that surrounds the crowded dance floor offers a little quiet, and a little privacy. Since there aren't enough chaperones for the space, and it's easy to slip into the dark upper corners without notice. Early in the evening, someone spikes the punch, and sweet liquid has a burning bite to it. The venue is rented until 2 am, and there whispers of after-parties throughout the city.

When: Just after the non-fear gas was starting to wear off on the students.

( She could feel herself and that porcelain act she put on cracking underneath the pressure of everything going on. )

( Venom sneaking up from behind like a nightmare terrier who wanted to play did make him jump, yes, but not out of fear. Just pure, physical startle. )

What: Meeting up at a cafe in Vegas for comparing notes and general awkwardness.

( This month, she felt like she kept tripping over her own social awkwardness, and there was no textbook that would help her figure out where she was conducting this experiment called life inappropriately. In short, she wasn't doing so hot. )

( Peter’s aching jaw went loose as he stared in stunned surprise as this new... whatever it was... joined the fight. )

What: A random run-in where Elise is meeting psych release and Billy is scheduled for physical therapy.

( Billy was temporarily robbed of words. He watched her walk off, and he had no idea what the expression on his face was, but he felt like the air and thought had been swept right out of him in one cold gust of wintered air, and he was left trying to fill himself back up again. )

( That grin on the boy's face rankled him. He never did like to be laughed at, and there was always the suspicion that someone was smiling behind their hands at his failure, somewhere. )

What: Loki pretends to be a harmless little old lady, but, like the big bad wolf, my what big teeth he has. AKA - Peter gets kidnapped, and Thor arrives just a bit too late.
