By the Bar
Felicia was probably too old for this type of party but she easily slipped past the waiting line. Dressed in a flirty black dress with part of her back exposed and 5in pumps in bright red to match her lipstick, she looked like she was ready for a party. It certainly helped that she knew the bouncers, who waved her in without a second thought. It paid to know just about everyone and she hadn't spent three years twiddling her thumbs. The garage provided customers of all sorts and well, she was the kind of person who stayed in touch with her customers and got to know them. Too bad it hadn't helped her too much with the search for her sister's dead lover. That had required an old contact with very long fingers in a lot of different pots. Something she sure as hell didn't want to be thinking about right at this particular moment, not when the music was pulsating around her.
She put a smile on her face and made her way to the bar, her pinned-back curls bouncing along as she walked. There was already so many people at the party, crowding the dance floor and mingling. She could see the VIP section and the familiar red hair of MK and was that Adam Waterhouse next to her? She spotted Wren Maheu too, and Luke Henry was with her. They'd been on the news lately and she wondered idly if Silver had heard or if the police were still looking for him. Probably not considering that the case was considered closed according to the news. She drank martini after martini, extra dry extra olives, and just watched the crowd. It was nice to see everyone having fun and she was determined to have just as much fun. She just wasn't sure how many martinis it would take to make her forget how much shit she was dealing with.
