"Look at you like what?" she asked, even as her lips twitched, and she shot him a warmer look. The chatter and the noise wasn't likely to get him to talk about what she wanted, MK knew, but maybe if she let him ramble about other things, she could get him to tell her what was going on. What made him seem so distracted. So, she followed behind him, greeting people she recognized with wiggling fingers and smirks and mouthed promises to catch up later. A pointed finger at Adam and a grin as explanations for questions posed.
He startled her when he started talking out of the blue, but she was getting more used to it. It was his thing. "Really?" she asked, reaching to curl her fingers into the crook of his arm so they wouldn't lose each other in the bustling crowd. "Good, good, good. I'm really glad to hear about that. What do you guys talk about?"
