WHO Felicia (Pepper) & Charles -> Pepper & Phil WHAT Lunch WHERE A steakhouse in NYC WHEN This afternoon WARNINGS Probably none.
Pepper spent most of the morning getting the construction crew settled in and briefed on exactly what they needed to do. She had a promise from the foreman that they would be finished as quickly as the work could be completed to her exacting standards. They'd used these particular construction workers when the tower was built so she had faith that the job would be done to her employer's standards. That, of course, had her thoughts drifting to the hotel and what transpired between them. As a result of that blue light, she thought, wincing slightly. She didn't want to think about the how or why, she was glad that he seemed to reciprocate her affections, at least for that moment. They hadn't discussed it since and she would rather let him take the lead on this one, primarily because of that stupid blue light. There was some suspicion that Loki was the one behind it, but she'd felt like herself, if a little less concerned about burying her feelings in favor of his needs and wants.
Whatever the case was, Pepper wasn't going to think any more of it. She had lunch with Phil that she was looking forward to. Reservations had already been made at a steak house not far from Stark Tower and all she needed to do now was collect Phil from the hallway in Passages. There was no need to hide Felicia's identity from Phil and she assumed he would have warned her if his other would be a problem. She stepped out into the hallway and left the door open, leading into her office at Stark Tower, and waited - in Felicia's form - for him to arrive. Felicia was dressed fairly nicely in jeans, sandals, and a white blouse. It wasn't quite as business as what Pepper wore, but he'd discover her grey skirt-suit and pale purple blouse as soon as they crossed through the door.
