Who: Kit & Nikolai What: And what do we have here? Where: The Wynn When: Monday evening Warnings/Rating: N/A
One of the many perks of staying where he did was that it was a convenient location - along with the rest of it, like the army of staff waiting on him and the amenities and the fact that they tried to comp him all sorts of things even though he had so much money he didn't know what to do with it. He had half a mind to give half of it to Russia just so that he could clear the family name, but to what end? They'd come after him anyway.
He didn't have the mood of a whimsical child to be able to spend all of it in one go, but he was always in the mood to seek or make a little bit of trouble. Nothing too big that would result in everyone getting butthurt and arouse mass cries of protest, but just small things that kept life interesting.
Today's small thing came in the form of a young man whom Nikolai almost walked past without noticing as he headed back toward his room. The disabled boy was hard to miss though, since most people who came to Vegas didn't bring their wheelchair-bound friends and family members to rub all the glamour and splendour it in their faces.
What caught Nikolai's interest wasn't the wheelchair but the fact that he had seen the boy with his Favourite Employee of the Decade, Theodore Winters. They had seemed close.
God, wasn't this depressing? All the money in the world couldn't buy anyone a brand new pair of legs. He sauntered up to the young man and offered a hand to go with his smile.
"Hi. I've seen you with Theodore." He made no effort to mask his accent and watched the young man's face for a reaction. If this really was someone Theodore cared about, he bet that the esteemed Wynn employee had said absolutely nothing about the Russian.
