Who: Geoff Bianchi & OTA
When: Wednesday Afternoon: 04/04/12
Where: A corner coffee shop near his place.
What: Geoff is pondering what the voice has been telling him when he runs into.. YOU!
Warnings: None
The smell of freshly ground coffee was Geoff's favorite part of this little cafe. He visited the place often and was on friendly, first name, terms with most of the staff. So when he stepped into the cool oasis and out of the desert heat, he was greeted with a couple of friendly smiles. Geoff replied with a little wave before he slid into line. Idly he tucked away the pair of sunglasses he had been wearing and waited for his turn. The nights at the casino had thrown him off schedule and he'd have to try his hardest to get back into the normal swing of things. His solution to that? Coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.
He ordered his usual and threw a couple bucks into the tip jar while chatting with the barista. It didn't take long for the young girl to pass Geoff a steaming hot cup of caffeinated goodness before he was off to find a seat. Today it seemed that this was the happening spot. He managed to find one table that wasn't occupied and he plopped down in the chair. A large window provided him a great view of afternoon traffic and Geoff went about his routine of perfecting his drink. He sipped the scalding liquid before reaching into his backpack to pull out a few things.
His attention seemed focused on a red journal with a clown and words written on the front. He flipped through the blank pages and pondered what the voice had told him. Should he use this to communicate with others like him? Was it really worth the hassle and potential exposure? And what exactly happened when someone found out what he was going through? What then? Geoff realized the risk wasn't worth it and he shook his head, tucking the book back inside his pack.
