WHO Justine & Prince Charming
WHAT First Date!
WHEN Recently

WARNINGS None!
The delay in seeing Justine had pleased him not a bit, but there had been no help for it. The good doctor insisted upon staying on his side of the door to take care of some patient and trying to control that man was easier said than done. At least Charming had gotten a chance to write to his little dancer and let her know that they would need to reschedule. Which was why he was here now, lounging comfortably on what passed for a bed in the dump of a hotel. Really, they could use a scale or two up. Maybe three. But as he had to do when they were forced out of their kingdoms, he could make do. All that was left for him to wait for was the aforementioned dancer and her movies. DVDs. Whatever she wanted to call them. He was quite interested to see how the doctor's world had perceived his history and his world. Justine forgave him all too quickly when he had to reschedule their date, mostly because she understood. Pepper couldn’t just cross the door whenever she wanted; Justine had to agree to it and actually go to the hotel. It probably didn’t help that sometimes she changed her mind about when she wanted to go but it wasn’t like she did it on purpose. Exciting things just happened sometimes and she wanted to be a part of whatever it was. Going to watch movies with Charming, having her first date ever, that was exciting, so Pepper was just going to have to wait. At least she didn’t seem so exhausted anymore. Armed with a 10” portable DVD player, DVDs of Snow White and the Huntsman and Beauty and the Beast, and a bag of popcorn like they sometimes sold at movie theaters, she was definitely ready for her date. She’d taken Ainslie’s advice about what to wear and settled on a cute floral, ruffle skirt that fell just above her knees and a white long-sleeved cotton shirt, thin but not so thin that it was indecent or anything. They’d already decided to use the same room as last time so it was easy to get the right key and find the door she needed. He was already there when she walked in and Justine offered him a bright, if slightly nervous, smile. “Hi! I um...got everything we need! Just need to set it up,” she said as a greeting, moving toward the bed to put her things down. The DVD player just needed to get turned on for the most part, but she kept her hands busy and her focus on that because she didn’t know what she was supposed to do next. Did they go right to kissing? Or could they really just watch the movies? There were a few things that Charming was very good at. "You look lovely," he said, face brightening into a smile as soon as he saw her. For the most part, he watched, curious as Justine hooked up the DVD player to the TV and started Snow White. Not the most romantic of movies, considering that Snow was the weak chink in his armor, but it was different enough that beyond the name, she didn't quite resemble his Snow at all. "Is this something you do often in your world?" He asked in between lulls in the conversation on the screen. Sliding forward, he sat on the edge of the bed closest to her and smiled. He could wait, be patient, allow her to feel at ease with him before he made any further moves towards her. A gentleman always waited for a lady and he knew that better than most, though sometimes it was incredibly frustrating. Tedious almost. But a small measure of his affection would not be remiss. Smiling over at her, his fingers walked over the bed until his hand covered hers. Yes, a girl like Justine, with her head full of fairy tales and happily ever after would like something like that. “Watching movies?” she asked, settling in on the bed next to him. the DVD player was small enough to keep on her lap so she set it between them, half on his leg and half on hers, with their backs against the headboard. “Yea. We go to the Cinema mostly, but I love watching movies at home too. Especially when I’m sick,” Justine explained, easily going off on a tangent. “But uh. I’m not sick now. Or anything.” Smooth, she thought to herself. An awkward sort of silence settled over them, at least on her part, but it didn’t take very long for his hand to find hers at that made her blush just slightly. Her hand turned over beneath his and her fingers entwined with his, all before she rested her head on his shoulder. He was quite comfortable, all things considered. “Is she like the Snow White you knew?” Justine knew he wasn’t from this movie, but she had been shocked by how horribly wrong Rose was that she wondered how different the others were. Charming laughed at the little tangent and squeezed her hand. "I can tell that you're not sick. I would expect if you were that you would stay at home and rest until you felt better." He was sure that doctors did other things beside that, and he could check with the main he shared a mind with, but Charming wasn't going to ask him at the moment. Nor did he particularly want to talk about his ex wife, but he wasn't going to ignore Justine's question either. "No. No she's quite different." Oh the small details were right, about Snow being a Princess, but she was quite different than the one in these movies. And while she had learned to fight -- it had been him that had seen to her lessons with a tutor not some Huntsman. Then there was the small matter of the dwarves. "Do not ever mention those to Snow," he said quietly as they appeared on screen. Justine smiled warmly. “I do! Mike would probably lock my door to make sure I stay inside at least, if I was sick. But I wouldn’t want to get you sick, or anyone else,” she continued, and then it dawned on her that maybe she shouldn’t talk about being sick. Thankfully though, he allowed her to change the subject to Snow and she wasn’t surprised by his answer. Rose had said as much just about her appearance and that was okay. She kind of prefered it that way because he’d been married to a Snow. Maybe she hadn’t thought this out as well as she could have. “I know,” Justine replied, managing to not add that it was Rose who had told her about them and that she’d already done so anyway. Trying to forget about all of that though, she decided she wanted his arm around her shoulder. Justine lifted his hand, the one in hers, and ducked under his arm, curling toward him so that she could rest her other arm over his stomach. “What are dates like? Where you’re from?” "Who is Mike?" He wondered. It didn't sound as if they were lovers and Justine didn't seem the type to juggle two men. Had she mentioned this man before? Sometimes it was hard to keep all their stories straight, but he'd had enough practice with it that he could put it off to forgetfulness if asked. "They were quite bad to her," he said quietly, staring at the small people on the screen as Justine moved under his arm. That broke his concentration, enough for him to smile down at her, his fingers wrapping around her shoulder. "They usually involve dinner. A lot of talking, dancing. Getting to know one another." Charming did not say that if one met one's 'date' at a hotel, it was less for dating and more for making love as frequently as one could stand it. “He’s just a bodyguard. I keep trying to tell him that I don’t need looking after, but having someone to look after you while you’re sick is always good,” she explained easily. “You can’t say anything though. I mean, I don’t think you will. I trust you not to, but I mean. You can’t tell anyone.” That would be bad. Justine smiled though, when he didn’t protest to the closer contact. She was still really shy and more than a little nervous. There were butterflies in her tummy, something she’d never really felt before. Was it because she wanted to kiss him? “We danced before. That counts, right?” She looked up at him, almost shyly. “Did you want to talk instead of watching the movie? Or we could talk while we watch. Like we’re doing.” God, why was she being such an idiot? Her insistence that he not tell anyone, nor talk about them being here. "Of course not," Charming said with an easy smile as he brushed her hair back from her temple lightly. "A gentleman does not tell such things." If she wanted privacy regarding what was going on between them, it did not bother him grant it. "And yes, of course it counts," he said with a quiet laugh as he pressed his nose to her temple. "I think we are already talking, my lady. Though I wonder on your world, if you are watching movies at the cinema, how are you supposed to talk? How do you get to know one another?" Justine was relieved to hear he wouldn’t go blabbing about her having a bodyguard. It wasn’t much of a secret since she advertised him to get him out of the apartment, but she still clung to that mentality that no one was supposed to know. She was just a bit confused when he said he wouldn’t tell because gentlemen don’t say things like that, but she figured it had something to do with sharing secrets that she just wasn’t aware of. All of that confusion paled in comparison to how incredibly warm she felt as he pressed his nose against her temple. His question had her replying without thinking. "Well, mostly the Cinema is used for a place to snog if you're on a date. The getting to know you bit happens before you start dating I suppose, or over dinner." Justine had never really understood the desire to not pay attention to a movie you'd just paid money for, but now she was starting to see the appeal. She smiled up at him, the blush from his simple gesture fading to a slight coloring, and she looked all too ripe for the taking while maintaining a profound sense of innocence. "Ahh." Why would one snog in a movie theatre? It wasn't as if anyone could go any further than kisses and it distracted from the experience as far as Charming was concerned. While most women could prattle on about things he cared less about during dinner and he knew how to appear interested when he wasn't and when to listen with half an ear when he was. But for something like kissing and what inevitably followed with him, wasn't something he wanted to do in a theatre. Especially not with a girl like Justine, who flushed so prettily from her cheeks down to her throat. "All of a date should be about getting to know one another." Either with their clothes on or off. "How else will you know if someone is meant to be your princess?" He asked as he kissed her cheek lightly. Justine nodded absently, but she didn’t reply until he asked about princesses and kissed her cheek. Her flush deepened considerably, her mind jumping immediately to wondering if he was thinking if she was meant to be his princess. She would certainly be better than the women who kept trying to warn her off him, particularly over something that was entirely Red’s fault. Entirely. “I really enjoy getting to know you. I loved dancing for you, and with you. I love talking to you over the journals too. I always feel warm inside and you make me feel special. More special than anyone else has made me feel.” Well, besides Mike, but she didn’t think that counted because it had been right after Benji left. The movie was forgotten entirely in favor of turning a bit more to face Charming better. Her gaze dropped from his eyes to his lips and back as she subconsciously licked her lip. “Do you think...you’ll have any luck? Finding another princess?” She was definitely a prattler, but Charming didn't stop her from turning in his arms. After all, it put her into a better position for the other thing she had mentioned on the journals and now was finally the right time. Her cheeks already flushed, that little dart of her tongue to wet her lips. "I think so," he murmured and smiled. "I think I'd very much like to kiss you now," he said, quietly, waiting for her permission before leaning slightly over her. That was what Princes did and while it had been a long time since he'd been anyone's first kiss, he remembered how it went. Slow, gentle, just a press of lips upon lips like now, careful not to bump noses or teeth or anything so clumsy as that. It wasn’t often that Justine was at a loss for words. In fact, probably the only time she was ever silent was while she danced. Even while she slept, Justine had a tendency to at least mumble. Right in that moment however, with his soft words and quiet omission, Justine could not speak. Her eyes widened slightly, her heart beating so loudly in her ears that she was sure he could hear. All she could do was nod and lean up, but he was leaning down too so she sunk down a bit, letting the bed and his arms do the supporting and holding. It was soft, warm, and so completely and utterly perfect. Justine sighed against his lips as her hand moved from across his torso up to his neck, keeping him close for fear that he’d pull away before she was ready for him to. After a few long moments, their lips parted and she smiled shyly. “You’re perfect,” she whispered, giving him a quick press of her lips again. “Thank you.” And with that, she snuggled in under his arm as if that was that. There was a lot she had to learn. Fully prepared for their adventure in kissing to continue, Charming was a little surprised when she snuggled under his arm, kissing apparently finished. Exhaling quietly, he didn't press for more, but ran the back of his knuckles lightly over her arm. Fine. He could wait. Forcing himself to smile, his head dipped down to kiss the top of her head. "You are very welcome, my lady," he whispered against the soft strands. Smile firmly in place, he wrapped his free arm around her waist, comfortably loose to finish watching the rest of the movie. Justine didn’t know that anything she did was wrong and she was certainly very happy about everything. The movie wasn’t her favorite, but she thought Ravenna was kind of cool as an interpretation of the Evil Queen. It wasn’t until the credits started to roll that Justine turned her head back up to look at Charming. “Could we kiss more? Instead of watching the other movie?” It was shyly, but honestly asked, and the hope was written clearly on her face. She wanted another kiss and already she was excited to call Ain, to tell her all about how perfect Charming had been. If more kissing was what she desired, it was a desire that could easily be filled. Charming smiled and kissed her temple, his fingers spreading out over her side. "Of course. Whatever you would like, sweet Justine." Her movies could wait for eternity for all he cared. He had more important things to do, like the seduction of one pretty, bright blue eyed ballerina and it all began with the press of his mouth to hers. Kissing was definitely what she wanted and the way he agreed had her smiling. There were butterflies fluttering in her stomach as she tilted her head up, her lips meeting his eagerly. It wasn't long at all before she parted her lips for him, more out of an innocent curiosity to see what he would do. This far though, she was thrilled with her first kiss and she wanted to spend as much time as she could with Charming. Justine's hand, the one around his neck, held onto him tightly, almost afraid that he would leave or, worse, stop kissing her before she was ready to end the night. With as focused as she was, she barely noticed that the soft moans dancing around them were coming from her. Long ago, Charming had learned to be patient, but it was a learned virtue, not a natural one by any means. His natural virtues were slight and far between, but he did know how to take an opening when presented with one and he took it now, the very tip of his tongue tracing over the edges of her parted lips. If she was going to moan like that, it was the very least that he could do. And really, did the sweet girl not know what it meant to make noises like that while in bed with a man? Perhaps not, if this was her first kiss and she was every bit as innocent as she appeared to be. It was something he would educate her about later. She’d thought their initial chaste kisses had been perfect but now she knew that paled in comparison to the absolute bliss she was feeling now. Justine was absolutely lost in the brilliance of the kiss, the softness of his lips and the warmth she could feel radiating from him. Or was it radiating from her? She couldn’t tell and she honestly didn’t care, so long as the warmth didn’t go away. It wasn’t until she needed to breathe that she pulled away, face flushed and her heart racing. Arousal coursed through her, though she didn’t recognize it as such. It was just a need and, ordinarily, Justine would’ve kept going until she got what she wanted. Unfortunately, she remembered all too well the warnings that everyone gave her and she worked hard to get herself under wraps. “I um...” Justine licked her lips and shifted just slightly, her skirt riding up without her realizing it. “I should probably get going.” She didn’t necessarily want to, but it was for the best. Right? Really, did she have any idea of the image she presented? Charming bit back an exasperated sigh and smiled instead, bending to kiss her lightly once more. "Only if you want to," he murmured. If she wanted to stay, he was hardly going to disagree with her. "My Lady," Charming added as he gave her another light kiss, not nearly as deep as the one that they were sharing before she broke away. She almost changed her mind. Almost. It was only the fact that Mike would ask questions if she was gone for too long or that she knew for a fact Benji would kick his ass if he ever caught wind of anything. Justine didn’t want that. She lingered for a few moments longer, kissing him back eagerly until she remembered she was supposed to be leaving. If she stayed any longer, she was going to end up taking things a lot farther than she wanted. That wouldn’t be good. “Okay, I really have to go now,” she whispered against his lips before pulling away and sitting up. Yes, she definitely needed to go. |
