[Memories Plot, Keys]

[The memories go as quickly as they came. But in Passages, something has changed.

The front desk, the one that appeared months earlier, now has keys in the slots against the walls. The keys open doors to rooms, scattered throughout the hotel, that allow Alters and Las Vegas characters to interact, to be physically in the same space for a limited span of time - sometimes once a week, sometimes only once a month, sometimes not even that, a few hours at the most. The only requirement is that the Las Vegas character slip a key into one of these rooms, and that the Alter exits their door with the intention of being there. A Las Vegas resident can never meet their own Alter, and it's hit and miss at the best of times, but sometimes, sometimes it works.

The keys wait, cleaned and polished, once the memories fade.]

[Memories Plot]

[It begins harmlessly enough, during the morning hours.

Headaches, vertigo, the kind of dizzy spells that make a person sit down until the world stops spinning. But the world does not stop spinning, not entirely, and then the memories began. Memories that do not, in fact, belong to the person receiving them. They come one after the other, back-to-back and with only enough time to process each one before another hits.

One, by one, by one, every resident of Las Vegas with a key to Passages is caught up in the deluge of other people's pasts, hopeless to escape.]
