I'm sure you all know this already. But it's cancelled. All 13 episodes will still air though. They will be dumped in December and January.
Nobody plays here. But I will still post and keep this place running through the end of the series. If anyone else ever wants to pipe in, you are still most welcome to do so.

At least its official

Officially Dollhouse has been canceled. But Fox has committed to airing the remainder of the 13 episode order. I hope Joss actually wrote and ending to the show, and we aren't left hanging.

Marketing Strategies
You know, the marketing strategies for Dollhouse may not save the show. But they are pretty freaking awesome none the less.
The Rossum Corporation
If you go to this site and play around you eventually click on "Contacts"
Where you find a phone number. Not a 555-5555 tv phone number, but an actual phone number.
If you dial it, you reach a voicemail box. Some time later you get a message that says "Ditch the tech".
if you go to ditchthetech.com you see a vid warning you about the Rossum Corporation. You also see a link, if you click it, a PDF poster uploads. It's where I got the image in this icon from.
Additionally, while loading, on the bottom left hand of your browser you might notice it says "transferring data from www.wipethefuture.com"
if you click on Wipe The Future it simply says "Rossum Knows That You Know."
Creepy.
And awesome. Yay for viral marketing.

Dollhouse - Fridays on Fox
You know what you can find on Hulu? Every episode of Dollhouse that has ever aired.
You need to be watching this show. It isn't going to hook you in the first episode. It's going to hook you and hook you good by episode 7. And then you will understand why I'm effing BEGGING you to start watching this show.
There is so much fucking crap on TV. But this isn't. It's Joss Whedon for fucks sake, you really think the series is going to totally suck.
I know some of the first 6 episodes aren't the best ever. Well, it wasn't until episode 6 that fox stopped fucking with the show and let Mr. Whedon do what he wanted. After that, OH MY SO GOOD.
And season 2 is shaping up excellently. But this show still need to find a solid audience. And it's time slot isn't helping. Neither is a serious lack of publicity.
Please don't pick up season 1 and a partial season 2 somewhere down the line and then lament the fact that there is no more to watch. Start watching now.
New episodes air on Friday nights on Fox.
PS...if you haven't watched episode 13, which did not air, you are really missing out. You should find a way to watch it or buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Dollhouse Season Two Begins Tonight!
Reminder! It may be late notice for some people, but for those who are around -- Season 2 begins tonight on Fox (your local listings may vary...)

Season 1 on DVD
Now that it's out on DVD is anyone else out there re-watching Dollhouse?
Episode 13 was sooooooo good. Although it a) made me wish we were going to get 10 more seasons so we see how they get to that point. and b) want an 11th season so we know what happens after.
I am enjoying the show even more this second time around and have introduced it to my sisters and brother-in-law who are loving it also.
If you enjoyed it as it aired the DVD is worth picking up for the original pilot and episode 13 alone, IMO.

Joss Fans, Man
Heh. Joss fans broke FOX's phone lines today.
Apparently FOX execs are currently confabbing about next season, and Miracle Laurie tweeted that fans should call them and ask them to renew the show for a second season.
And flooded the lines.
End of Show's article about it.

New Joss interview
This is one of the best articles I've read on Dollhouse and Joss' thoughts: Joss Whedon on Dollhouse's renewal chances, that missing episode, 'Dr. Horrible' and more.

News Roundup
Wow. It's been a confusing week or two! Here's a great roundup of all the information from the past, and latest news that we have, about the Season One finale and possible Season Two of 'Dollhouse'.
Here at screenrant.com.
Excerpt: The last two episodes that are scheduled to air are a two-part closure to the season. The two episodes together were created as the season finale. They answer a number of questions about the Dollhouse and the actives. Though it’s not being treated as a cliffhanger, it will raise some questions that can lead us into that potential second season, should that happen.
