| About: | What is this place? This is a mirror version of the dmhgficexchange on LiveJournal. Why? We (the mods of the LJ exchange) recently had to friends-lock all R and NC-17 rated entries in order to comply with LiveJournal's new ToS. This meant only members could access and view those entries, and membership was restricted to users 18 or older, meaning we had to block out a large portion of users who were formally members, who read and wrote some of these stories, and who positively contributed to both the exchange and the Draco/Hermione fandom for years. This bothered us greatly, and with the permission of the authors, we decided to re-post those R/NC-17 stories here so anyone could read them. Why here, why not just use an archive? We strongly encourage authors to do both. We choose InsaneJournal because, basically, InsaneJournal is fan-friendly. ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} squeaky has said: "I am proud to say that in the almost 6 year life of this site we have had to suspend fewer than a handful of journals, and we would like to keep it that way. Unless there is a DMCA violation or a court order to remove content, we will not delete journals." As well, we wanted to keep the R/NC-17 exchanges stories together. In a general Draco/Hermione (or Harry Potter) archives, they would be mixed in with numerous non-exchange stories. Will you be holding/running exchanges from this site? No. This is not active in the way the LiveJournal version is. No exchanges will be held here, it is simply a reading site. Why are posts from different exchange rounds mixed together? We re-posted stories as we were given permission, wanting to mirror ASAP. However, we will soon be getting our memories in order and you will be able to search by exchange round, which will then list stories by their title, author, and rating. Important Information for LiveJournal Users Please be very careful not to link directly to this site from your LiveJournal account. At the moment, it still remains unclear on whether or not you could be in violation of their ToS if you direct link to content that if it were to be hosted on LJ, would violate their ToS. Please see this post for why you may be at risk. While we want to get the word out about this reading site, we also don't want you to get kicked off LiveJournal.
