Welcome to DMC, an asylum dedicated to Capcom's Devil May Cry series. This is a community meant to serve the fandom as a whole, and in as such, all pairings, ideas, and anything else dealing with the fandom are welcome. The community's focus itself is on the series as a whole, but any kind of discussion is more than welcome to be posted here. This includes meta, if you feel like trying to wrap your brain around the inconsistancy present in the plotline (and if you do so, Godspeed, you crazy diamond).

comm rules;

Yes, even we have rules. While not many, please read them carefully before you post, because they will be strictly enforced.

→ Play nice. Flaming, character bashing, pairing bashing, and flat out rudeness won't be tolerated. I'm not a mod with an itchy ban finger by any means, but we can be civil. And if you can't, sit on your hands. Common sense applies: Will it make you look like an ass? If you answer this question with yes, don't post it.
→ Cut spoilers with a warning. This is common sense. Right now this applies to the anime and DMC4, if you happen to find out anything. Remember that some people just can't get to things as fast as others, and keep courtesy in mind with that. It's just rude (i.e. see rule one).
→ Keep it on topic. Yes, we understand you're all unique individuals. However, we're here for a simple reason: Devil May Cry. Let's keep things on topic with that, and keep intro posts to a minimum unless you have something to share.
→ Check to see what's been posted. Every post is a repost. Make sure what you want to share hasn't already been slapped up in the community. This just keeps down clutter for the mod. :D

fanfic guidelines;

Fanfic is more than welcome to be shared, because God only knows it's hard to find the good stuff. However, if you're posting, please put everything under a cut (Here's how to do it for the unsure.), and tag a header onto your entry, somewhat like the following:

Title: (Um, the title.)
Characters: (Who's in it?)
Rating: (G through R is allowed. If there's a demand for NC-17 stuff, we'll get ourselves an 18+ comm.)
Warnings/Spoilers: (Warn for possible violence/grossness/whatever and any spoilers.)
Summary: (What's it about?)

icon guidelines;

Icons are something you are more than free to share. In fact, you can expect the mod herself to spam the place with icon posts. However, if you're going to do so, please put no more than three teasers outside of a cut (again, if you need to know how to do that, check here in the FAQ on how to do so). If any warnings apply (m/m content, what have you), make a note of that as well.
