Hi guys!

First of all, we know this month we've been a little slower than usual. We've both had a few speedbumps in our personal lives and it's put a strain on our internet lives. We were also a little overambitious with our plots on top of all this and we both want to say we really appreciate your patience and flexibility this month!

We also know the activity check is very late! With the shortened month, it slipped our minds that it should've gone up several days ago, but it also just slipped our minds. So this month we've decided to do a check in/meme hybrid. We thought this post had a really great response and we've had some new characters.

If you'd rather opt out and just check in, feel free to do so! We'll be keeping a running list of our players. But if you'd like, comment below with each of your characters and any ideas you have for the coming months that you think the rest of us can help with!

Hello everyone!

So starting right now, the journal wards will cease working entirely. Your characters won't be able to ward their posts or their comments for the next few days. Security wards will also start malfunctioning too. Even the Ministry's wards will be a bit buggy. Most importantly though, the IDs will no longer function.

Also, when we went to pair people off for the Order initiative starting today, we found our numbers were a little off and that we have more people volunteering to be bugged and more Order people volunteering for confrontations. Since we've already had two big confrontations this month, we were wondering if anyone objected to making this a strictly bugging plot. Kingsley will be holding an Order meeting tonight so they can discuss getting this ball rolling in character and what to do about communicating in the meantime.

Hey guys, my net has been out for a few days so if there was Andromeda or Saxon things, please do let me know and I'll get on it (along with deleting the insane amount of spam I came back to).

Hi everyone!

Thank you so much for all your hard work on the Valentine's Day gala! Now that it's done we want to jump right into the next Order initiative: rescuing the Wandless!

In short, Caroline and NPC Bill will bring down the wards keeping the Wandless in. The Order will start small diversions to distract from both taking the wards down and the next part. The Quidditch players will swoop in and free a handful of them, taking them to a previously agreed upon location so the Order can move them to safety. The DMLE will be dispatched and expected to stop the Order and round up the remaining Wandless. (If they actually duel the Order or not is entirely up to you.) The Death Eaters will show up shortly thereafter and the Order will scatter. The obliviators will be called in to obliviate any Muggles who spotted the flyers and for the rest of the day, everyone will be able to come and go as they please without needing an ID.

Like the gala, we don't anticipate this being a drawn out battle at all. We anticipate this skirmish being a series of short logs and narratives. Civilians are welcome to do their own short narratives (or logs. Just please be sure to arrange whoever they'd be with and let us know) reacting to what's happening if you like!

We currently have this on the plot calendar for the 22nd, but we're considering moving it to the 24th if this isn't enough time. Let us know what you'd prefer! Comments are screened!

Hello! So as you may have noticed, Val and Peony are throwing a purist gala on the 14th, which will host various visitors from abroad - I'm assuming notable pureblood families and wealthy halfbloods with the "right" belief system. As several characters are related to European families, if you want to NPC them on the day, be our guests!

Also we figure that they are likely being hosted by pureblood families for the few days around the event (since it's some kind of propaganda exercise/effort to strengthen the foreign ties of purism) so again, feel free to claim your own.

So now that the ball is rolling in character we wanted to throw up a volunteer post for the charity event the Order is going to strike on the 14th! The Order's aim is to disrupt and distract because meanwhile, back at the Lestranges', Rolf and Angelina are going to be releasing some of Rodolphus' horses. This will probably all happen very quickly, meaning the logs can be very short and the injuries can be light, since the Lestranges will have gotten an alert that their property is being tampered with and will probably want to look into that!

( PLOT CALENDAR 08: FEBRUARY )

Hi everyone!

We're in the process of sorting out February's plot calendar and we wanted to take a second to check in and see if they're meeting everyone's needs or if there's anything people would like to see done differently/added to the calendar. We started with shorter plot calendars in the fall, but at this point, we feel month-long calendars are going to be more appropriate since we've switched into longer term planning.

Our goals for this month will include facilitating more Order retaliation plots and (finally) taking the plunge with Ministry ID sabotage plots. Since January was such an intense and dour month, we're going to include a couple more light-hearted things to give us a few touches of levity.

Specifically, we'd like to know if people find the birthday prompts fun/useful or if they're kind of pointless and we should forego those for the remainder of the game. But if there's any general comments on our format, volunteer spot availability, or anything like that, please let us know!

And for anyone who has a specific plot they'd like to reserve a date for, this is our last call for it. Please email us by tonight!

ETA: The end of January was so jam packed we're going to aim to have the February plot calendar up by Saturday instead of tomorrow. In the meantime, please hit up this thread if there's anything you'd like to see on the pcal for non-Order/DE characters.

I talked to Karin, and Ted was around to heal too. She and Leon both for a bit, tag-teaming it, and then he ducked out to check in on work 😬😬😬 (his excuse for being late is that he was sleeping off an overnight shift, and had no idea/didn’t hear any messages) (studiously not looking suspiciously at Jeremy lolol) and came back later to take care of Sturgis as Caroline mentioned. I don’t think this changes too much but I wanted to make sure everyone knows!!

Hi folks!

After today's Quidditch match and before any check-in posts go up, we're putting this here so people can list injuries (including anyone who may have been present and injured off-screen) and make arrangements for their characters to be found/get help/etc. The Quidditch pitch should be cleared out soon after the fighting ends, and DMLE members/Obliviators/reporters will be sent to investigate and help clean up the mess.

Just fyi everyone! If you're using Chrome and it's slowing down to nothing/not working at all disable the Photobucket add-on workaround if you have it. That's the cause of it, a lot of people across the board had this issue and disabling fixed it. It'd been progressively slowing down page loads for about a week and this morning people couldn't load anything w/ Chrome if they had that active. Apparently the Firefox version still works fine.

Hello again everyone! We're trying to compile the pairings for the quidditch scuffle on the 27th and we need about four Order members/experienced duelers to balance things out a little bit. Comment below if you'd like to volunteer!

ETA: Thank you so much to everyone who volunteered! We're going to go with some of the characters who aren't already involved, but we really, really, REALLY appreciate everyone who volunteered! We're going to make sure there are lots more opportunities for events like this in February.

Hi everyone! We're really excited to be opening holds back up and to be doing our first round of adds for 2018! Before we get to those, we have a few reminders:

• Pairings for the skirmish on the 15th have been sent out. If you volunteered and didn't receive one, please let us know!
  
• We still have a media spot available and we could use more Death Eater volunteers for the quidditch match battle on the 27th. Please head over here to sign up for those!
  
• After talking to a couple people, we've decided to change the deadline for the IC promotions plot and call for more volunteers. We know this month is a busy one, so we'll have Voldemort address the promotions this week and handle them on a rolling basis. However, we really would like to see the IDs get more people in trouble, so please keep this in mind! We only have two volunteers for this at the moment, so we'd love to see more!
  
• There are still a lot of you who haven't weighed in on our survey! Please, please, please fill this out! We really value the feedback and want to hear from you!
