Survived the Parkinson gala with little to tell other than the following:- Malfoys, Traverses, Selwyns, Burkes, Juggs, and Betty Braithwaite were present, amongst others. Some known Death Eaters, others simply (?) Purist
- Peony is a fine dancer and a gracious hostess. I was briefly mistaken for a Greengrass cousin, and browbeaten over not being interested in securing a family connection, but it wasn't long until Linden Parkinson came by to remind Calliope that I am Percival Weasley and on we went.
- Nothing particularly incriminating seeming donated, though I am quite sure the Burke item had some kind of Dark Magic attached (obvious, given their line of business)
- Umbridge is a messy drinker (that I could have told you already) and announced to her table that the Wandless really ought to be sent to workhouses. This is something to keep an eye on because I did spot a Junior Wizengamot staffer with a sparkle in his eye when she started her speech.
- After a few dances, I hopped the window in the loo and found a spot to Disapparate. At any rate, it still makes sense to maintain the ruse. It may yet come to some sort of advantage to help reclaim the government in a lawful manner.
I have to send you my most heartfelt apologies regarding the legislation passed regarding lessons. The money is impossible unless you are an Avery, a Malfoy or a Black. But in the meantime, I thank you for the time and the instruction you afforded me.
Your paperwork's gone through and not a peep at the Parkinson gala about it. The set we're looking to shock and awe is rather in line to be shocked and awed satisfactorily.
Can you cast a Patronus? We've discussed all but.
