Favourite discworld plot arc?
Hey

Just thought this might be an interesting subject to discuss, but what are your favourite discworld novels?

Are you a witches fan, or do you prefer to stalk the death books?

Myself, I love the watch books. Vimes journey never fails to fascinate me and Pratchett's humour really seems to come out well in them.

I also love the Tiffany books - the young adult books that have been coming out recently...

But all of pTerry's works are love. :)

It's a pretty good toss-up between the Watch books (and the other ones set in Ahnk-Morpork) and the witch books (including Tiffany's).

I'm a Watch girl. I think the narration changes depending on whose eyes we see it through, and I like the way Vimes and company see it best. The Death books come second.

Though with that said, I'm keen on Moist -- if his lot turn into a series, they'll probably get top place.

Oh yes!

Going Postal was a completely awesome novel and I'd love to see if pTerry ever decides to write more on that group!

There's another one called Making Money coming out September 24th, actually.

Oh awesome!

I haven't heard of it before, but then I don't follow Terry Pratchett's website.

I'll definitely be on the look out for it around then, then. :D

My favorite are the Watch books, I like Samuel Vimes and Vetinari a lot.
But I like also the witches and Death. Even Rincewind and the wizards of UU (especially Ridcully, the Bursar and Ponder Stibbons).

The Night Watch and the Witches, like a lot of other people, but also the Death books with Susan in them. Thief of Time is one of the books that I will never get tired of reading.
