Eee eee a trailer for The Colour of Magic!Despite weird, weird casting choices (even though I am always in favour of any good part for Sean Astin) I am all a-squee.

I caught it on SkyOne and thought the effects were quite good. They were probably better than anything in that 'In the Name of the King' film that hit the theatres earlier this year.

However, I'm a new fan of Discworld and only started looking into the mythos around a month before this week.

Death was quite funny and Tim Curry were excellent. The Patrician was definitely interesting as well, but I won't spoil that for anyone. :)

If anyone needs or wants a copy of TCOM, I can supply - let me know.

I never saw the Hogfather - which adaptation was more faithful, from an experienced fan's standpoint?

Was excellent - I seem to be turning into the Librarian here. Anyway, in the second scene where he was really features, Curry's character seemed somewhat intimidated by him. I'm sure they could have done more though; TV always falls short of something with adaptations...

I still haven't seen it, but then I live in Belgium, we don't get SkyOne. If it showed up online and someone sent me a link and I clicked it innocently and was too stunned to react before I'd accidentally seen the whole thing twice, well, perhaps I wouldn't think it tragic. *cough*
