Sumi smiled. It was true that Jax really never seemed to de down about anything, no matter what he was doing at the time. It was an admirable quality. Not many people could always keep their spirits up despite all of the situations that they got into from day to day. She'd always noticed that about him, not to mention his resourcefulness. It only increased her interest in him from day to day. It wasn't something that she let show, but the feelings were undoubtedly there.
Of course he deserved her gratitude. Without his good graces, she would have been left behind in New Haven to die in the chaos. Now, she was lucky enough to be at Jax's side. He hadn't tired of her presence yet and she sincerely hoped that he wouldn't any time soon. After all, something about her made him want to keep her around. If he did, however, she wouldn't question it. He was the leader and his decisions were what the tribe ran on.
She took his hand as he helped her down off the window sill and lead her to the stables. Sumi smiled, her other hand reaching up to tuck some of her long black hair behind her ear. "It's absolutely perfect. Thank you for asking."
