Week Twelve - Friday
Who: Yeates and English and a bunch of NPC Sprogs
Where: Out and about on the farm
When: Afternoon of Friday
What: Revelations, snogging, and a rousing game of Tag
Status: in Progress
Rating: Um...English always gets a PG-13 cause of her mouth!

Children. The little rugrats always seemed to brighten English no matter the mood she was in. She had stolen all of them from Wren and was in the back yard running around with them with a stirring game of tag. There was laughing and shrieks of exitement coming from all including English but it was a first in quite a few days.

She'd been painfully silent since she found out. She was hurt and nothing could change that fact. She had been brushed aside and it hurt. English didn't need anyone to tell her it would take a miracle to make someone want her for more than a quick...oh she didn't even want to think about sex. Something she had in all her nineteen years really never come close to. She was safely guarding it for some cosmic reason even she couldn't figure out anymore.

In all truth she knew she didn't have a right to be upset. Hawk was not hers to claim and most of the hurt she had rested with Nova. English had nearly lost a toe because of the stupid girl when she ran off like she did hurting Grey. The truth was something English didn't want to even acknowledge. Hawk had been a stand in for something she wasn't brave enough to try. They were the only two she had and she couldn't bare screwing something up with them. Will had always held just a bit more special place in her heart than Bobby. She had her fair share of longing looks when he fell within her sight and she knew it wasn't something she could ever have. She was his dearest friend and as far as either Caldwell boys were concerned she probably wasn't even thought of as a girl.

Yeates hadn't really been around the farm too often lately. With the approach of warmer weather he'd been out and about, trading, riding, farming, scouting for new places to hide anything and everything that was worth people breaking and entering for. You could never be too careful. The second most important thing to do in Spring time was to watch as all the wonderful miracle herbs Hawk grew sprouted and burst to life. He'd never say greenery wasn't good for him ever again.

Today however he'd slept in. Yeates could appreciate alot of things but he didn't often get the chance to appreciate the power of a long old sleep. It was possibly the most glorious thing ever to be able to bundle down in his own bed (something he would have given up had it not been his sick bed during the first few months of the adjusting period, now nobody but him slept in it. Not that he was complaining)pull the covers up and the pillows down and hibernate like a bear. It was good. Though eventually his muscles ached for some movement and he'd slung on loose fitting jeans, a comfortable v neck jumper that revealed he wasnt wearing a shirt underneath it.

When he reached the kitchen he could hear the squeals from outside, the smalle voices shouting and crying out in excitement and hysterics. He leant over to the window and caught a glimpse of English running around with the children. Care free and crazy with that blinding smile on her face, that beautiful smile he wished he could see more often. Abandoning all plans to make a drink Yeates darted out the door and ran so fast he caught one of the kids off guard and swept him up in a circle dumping him back on the ground with a guffaw of laughter and then running for English.

He laughed as she took off, "You can't escape me lady," he breathed pouncing on her and launching her into his arms.

English would have never expected to be rushed by anyone other than the kids but she turned and saw Yeates fast on her heels and she actually put her full effort into running away. English had long legs built for grace but when she needed them to be they could be speedy. She let out a yelp and couldn't help the laugh that escaped her either.

"Yeates, what do you think you are, ACK!" She was pounced and found herself in a set of arms she had always longed to be in and she quickly squelched those thoughts before she turned beet red. Thankfully, she had been running around so her face was already flushed. Her breathing was coming out in soft little pants and she fixed him with a look.

"What am I exactly escaping from at the moment? I was already it." She tried not to laugh again a smile curling at her lips.

Yeates loved the chase, not always in the physical sense, though it did get his heart pumping, an excuse for the way his heart felt around her. She felt right in his arms, his biceps easily wrapping around her lithe form, his face buried into the back of her neck where he tried not inhale obviously. Was that a stalker thought? Well she was irrisistable. Unfortunately for Yeates English was one of those fruits, the forbidden kind.

He didn't let her go and delighted in her tiny squeal and the way she protested that this was unfounded because she had already been it, "Well," he caught his breath, "I guess that makes me it too," he laughed and looked at the kids still running around, "i'll keep the best busy, go," he shooed them off watching as their little legs carried them away as fast as possible.

He didn't let her go, instead he whisked her around and guffawed, "I have you now!" he tried to mock an ominous evil laugh but trailed out when he ran out of breath, "I heard you finally dragged Grey out of his self pitying emo state," he let her down gently and turned her, "For that I am grateful, it means I can stop hiding," he swug an arm round her shoulder.

The feel if Yeates face so close to her own bare skin was making the situation harder by the moment to deal with. It wasn't as if she had long hair any longer to shield her rather swan like neck. It was making goose flesh dot her skin and she was certain that Yeates would notice. It was a horrible situation and she swore the fates liked laughing at her.

The fact he didn't let her go just prolonged her torture in his arms, oh but it was sweet. She made no move to struggle in his arms and allowed herself the unusual moment of leaning back into Yeates. When she was twirled around like she was off of her feet, she tucked her legs in. She couldn't help but laugh at his ominous laughter because really, everyone knew she was the evil one of the three of them.

"I set a trap for him in the kitchen. The bitch hurt him by shacking up with Hawk. Hurt fades with time." She didn't want to talk about herself but she knew after what she had said it would surely come up. She leaned into him when his arm was thrown around her. "Thats me, English plays with guns and fixes her boys."

Yeats walked back towards the farm house a little bit, with no real intention of going inside on such a beautfil day. It would be wrong to deny the kids their game of chase even though he was sure they'd realised their beast had been captured and taken away from them, leaving them to play amongst themselves. When he reached the fence guarding patches of crops he let go of English and sat down, looking up at her he held his arms out and pulled her down beside him, close beside him.

"I won't lie and say I never liked Nova but I never trusted her," he nudged her shoulder, "Even this smile can be deceiving though I don't like it to be," he sighed, "but at least in his delirious state Grey was able to be saved even if you did trick him wickedly," he grinned but softened when he looked at her. "Hawk's an idiot, the guy may be a friend of mine but that doesn't mean I think he is capable to treating a lady right," he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "If I'm horrible then I'll admit that Hawk is only sticking around with Nova because this baby is serious business. Nobody needs Wolf on a rampage, especially not after him and Grey fighting,"

English let Yeats pull her down to sit on the fence beside him and she hooked her feet on one of the lower fence slats. It was nice to sit with him like this. It was nice to have a day she didn't have to tote around a gun and worry about defending the farm boarders. It was a necessary evil she wished they didn't need. Necessary evils were just that though, necessary.

The topic of Nova wasn't something English wanted to talk about. She had never liked the girl and this was just extenuating the dislike. "Hawk never really has dated a lady though." She wasn't going to call herself a lady and she certainly wasn't going to call Nova one.

The next words that came from Yeats mouth floored English. Pregnant. Children weren't supposed to happen anymore and they should certainly happen to someone that wasn't a damn idiot. The color drained from her face and her mouth slacked open a bit in shock.

Yeates sucked in a breath and blew it out in a noise rather like a gruff sigh and also skepticism, "It depends," he spoke considering his words, "What does lady mean? He's dated girls before," he shot her a knowling look, "there is no such things as ladies anymore, they don't get very far these days," he looked to the ground, "not that there isn't potential around," he tried not to sneak a glance her way but failed and then thought nothing of it afterwards. when it came to talking of being a girl Yeates knew that English had long since forgotten to consider herself of the fairer sex, hell she could shoot better he could and spit further but it didn't make her androgenous to him. He remembered those ballet days, that tiny little leotard and her long graceful legs as she leapt and twirled around the studio. He remembered watching as she flew from one end to the other in a swift and fluid motions. She held some of that today, thuogh he guess mostly out of habit, it was imbedded so deep inside her she'd never escape it.

The silence creeping over Yeates made him frown; English's mouth was opening in shock and it took a while for him to figure out what exactly had happened. "You...didn't know," he spoke slowly, calmly and through absoloute confusion, "Why didn't you know?" he looked towards the farm and let out a bitter laugh, "I get it now," he shook his head, "Fucking priceless,"

English shot Yeates a look when he gave her that knowing look. She hadn't expected the glance she was given when he spoke of potential though. It made her heart do a funny little thing but her mind instantly shot it down. She wasn't even considered a girl half the time, not even by herself. She was no where near lady potential.

"What is priceless? I would love to be clued in on the something that is priceless. Does everyone know?" English couldn’t think of a reason to keep such a thing from her unless Grey was trying to protect her. Hell maybe Grey didn’t even know.

"Hawk must have super hippy sperm." English hopped down and felt like just going out and shooting something. She was deep down relieved she hadn't been the one Hawk knocked up with his super sperm. She liked Hawk but it never truly clicked between them. She had her theories on why but it was a one sided theory. She tried not to even acknowledge it most days. All in all it had just bruised her pride and made her self worth drop even more.

"Do you ever think how it could have been with out the epidemic?" English had never talked about the time before when they had both had families. She had tucked it all away and most times left the room when the past was even mentioned. It was just hard for her to think on all that she had lost. She had dreams some nights of what it would have been like to have her daddy give her away to become Mrs. Caldwell, Bobby standing up in the front of a church as best man beside Will.

Yeates ran a hand through his hair, "Not everyone knows, it's a strictly need to know basis type of thing as far as I'm aware. Most of the feathers know natrually, my brother knows and he found out about it much like you. It seems though," he scratched his head, "that he inadvertently left it up to me to tell you," he smiled at her, an apologetic sympathetic smile, "Sorry sweetie," he hugged her to his side and set a kiss to the top of her head.

"If it's hippy sperm the sproggs in trouble," Yeates laughed. It was kinda scary to think that this could happen. What if it had happened when him and English had hooked up, sure he'd thought maybe Wolf had overreacted when he thoughtGrey was responsible but he'd probably kick Hawks ass into the next universe if he'd found out English was the one about to risk her life for the impossible. He clenched his fists and stood to face her.

He looked at her, searching into her eyes to read the emtions flicking inside them, "Sometimes," Yeates wanted to approach with a soft set tone, it was hard for English to approach the subject of the past often when reminising with his brother she would walk into her room, her footsteps thudding softly then fading as he realised she was crawling into bed. He did think about how things would be if this one day turned out to be a dream. He knew he'd be in college most likely, scholarship for sports perhaps, though the thought of being without his brother and English was hard to imagine after growing so used to it. Though it wasn't just being used to it, it was wanting to, it was loving it. He loved being with them, he loved having her around him. "I think about where I'd be, if I'd be in college yet," he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "What about you?"

English hadn't let Hawk touch her though. There had been moments but it never went beyond a wandering hand that would get slapped on occasion. She didn't want to think about it though. It was happening and it wasn't to her.

"Juilliard. Madam Katya was going to get me an audition. I'm not sure I could have done it though." Grey and English were so free with touch. She poked at him and hugged him and he did the same to her, they were as good as siblings as far as they both were concerned. Yeates was different. English couldn't get too close to him out of fear of what she would let herself do, what she could ruin. The fingers that tucked her hair behind her ear made her shiver at such a gentle touch from him. She wanted so much more and couldn't stop the longing that reflected in her eyes when she looked up at him. "It would have been hard to leave. I can't imagine being some of the people here that have nothing of what they used to know. We were really lucky in all this."

English truly didn’t know what would have become of her had she not had Will and Bobby. She probably would have swallowed a bullet like her brothers and father. She didn’t have to think about that though because she would pay hell to keep them. Yeates was standing far too close still though and she couldn’t bring herself to take a step away from him nor could she turn her eyes away from his own.

Yeates laughed, "Ah Madam Katya," he pretended to be looking back in his catalogue of memories, "What a belle," he replied dryly, "You'd be the prima ballerina you were supposed to be," he grinned encouragingly, "There is no question, sometimes I would imagine that you'd become big and famous, gotten away from this farm and danced show after show - swan lake of course-" he chided playfully, "And then when people asked about us Caldwell boys you'd be like 'Oh I hardly remember those tiny hicks," and he imagined her saying it all in that irresistable accent of hers. He covered a shiver everytime it crossed his mind, even if the words were mean and insulting. He shrugged and smiled, a lopsided easy one, "Of course you didn't get away really because in the next scene, in my head," he explained, "Me and Bobby chained you to the fridge and told you there was no way you'd get to go until you aggreed to build us our own farm and you would live with us, cos we all know you're not a city slicker," he snapped back and grinned cheekily, "We got the second part of my dream,"

Around English it was hard not to grin, sometimes he took on the role of easy hilarious guy, especially when Grey was not being very fun at all, but to be unhappy around English was very hard for him. She made him smile, her pessimism made him chuckle, made him strive to show her things were better. To make her smile. He loved to see her smile. "You'll never be rid of us," he announced in a matter of fact way, "I'm making sure of that," he added on thoughtfully. His eyes wouldn't leave hers and the hand that had tucked her hair behind her ear had fallen to rest on her shoulder, the skin lovely and warm under his touch. She was soo tiny to him, he wasn't the most muscular of men but English was lithe and tiny, like an imp.

English half felt like hitting him over the head when he spoke of his imaginings of her. "I would never do such a thing! And you wouldn't have to chain me to the fridge because you are never getting rid of me either." She pinched his side and mockingly glared up at him.

"You are right though. I'm not a city girl. I probably would have come right back here and taken over Madam Katya's studio and commuted into town from out here. You and Bobby would run off and marry some high maintenance she-devils though and I would turn into some scary old cat lady." Just thinking of Yeates running off with someone that wasn't her stung. If she could never put her feelings into words though did she really have the right for it to hurt?

Locked eye to eye with Will she had to wonder what they were really doing. Her heart for once was screaming louder than her brain. The pull to tell him, show him even how she felt was so strong. She warred with herself a moment before words half whispered slipped from her lips. "It would kill me to loose you, Will." She leaned in and gave him a sweet kiss to the corner of his mouth it lingered a moment before she pulled away and it was rather easy to see it wasn’t an accident. She was going to have a heart attack though for letting herself do such a thing.

Yeates snorted, "High maintenance whores? Saucer of milk over here? Meow!" he shook his head, "Good looking girls don't become cat ladies,"

It would kill him to lose her, even for a second. Yeates hand slid from her shoulder as her body came towards his. He stopped breathing, what was she doing? Why was she coming so close? Any minute now she would push him away and claim that she didn't appreciate letching. Oh god did she know? Did his stupid brother say anything? Had he given it away? Her lips pressed a simple sweet kiss to the corner of his mouth and his heart stopped, his mind blanked and he froze. He stood there staring at her for a while, his eyes not being able to leave hers, his mouth agape like an idiot.

Say something, do something you're going to hurt her feelings. What are you waiting for? You've been wanting this for years?! Yeates kicked his brain into gear again and found he hadn't let go of her shoulder just yet. His hand circled it, his other one going to her hip and pulling her close to him. "Anna," he murmured her name and leant in, his lips coming into contact with hers, tentative at first then he applied more pressure and revelled in the feeling of her lips finally against his. Maybe he should have felt shamed to feel lust towards one of his best friends but she was finally here, in his arms, firm with him her warmth and his together. She felt so right cradled into him. He let out a light whimper of pleasure.

Anna, no one called her that anymore. It was always English even if she called them by the given names dear Mrs. Caldwell had given them. She very rarely heard Anna spoken in reference to her. It would have felt wrong though for him to call her English. Will knew her beyond the rifle toting foul mouth. He knew her dreams and her secrets. He knew the real her.

Her hands moved to touch him, one laying flat against his chest over his heart while the other cupped his cheek. Slender fingers played with his hair before the hand at his cheek just delved back through the messy dark brown locks. If there was shame to be felt for lusting after your closest friend she didn’t care to hear about it. It wasn’t as if it was an empty emotionless lust. She loved Will more than she could even put to words.

Anna melted into him, her body pressed to his as the kiss ever so slowly deepened. She was going to savor this moment. She felt so elated to have finally what her heart wanted. She could deal without Juilliard and ballet if she had Will.

Will's hands splayed over her lower back, pulling her harder towards him even though she had brazenly pressed herself against him already. His eyes rolled back behind his lids as her hands ran through his hair, the unruly strands begging to be touched and tamed by her fingers. God he loved the feel of her touching him like that. His own large hands squeezed her and he deepened the kiss still, searching her for something, anything and receiving so much at the same time. Too much. It was getting hot, his clothes were starting to get too cosy and he broke away breathless.

"God," he held her not too far from him but far enough so that he wouldn't pull that unattractive square eyed look you got when you looked at someone close up without squinting. There was no way he was squinting. He moved a hand up to cup her cheek, "You have no idea how many times I imagined doing that," he breathed, grinning with embarrasment and relief at the same time, at least now he knew she wouldn't push him away if he ever tried to steal a mind blowing kiss from her again. He kissed her lips, briefly and flushed. "I thought it was cold out here, but it's getting hotter," he gave her a wicked grin.

It was Anna's turn to let out a whimpered moan as Will's hand pulled her as close to him as was physically possible, his large hand squeezing at her tiny frame. It was all so heady. She had never imagined it would be like this. She had imagined it many a time and this certainly wasn't her first kiss but it all paled in comparison. She had heard all the movie cliches the earth moving, the planets alligning, fireworks they all seemed nothing close to what she had just experianced.

"I could wager a guess...considering how many times it has crossed my mind." The blush that flooded her face couldn't have been stopped even if she had tried. It was deep and she could feel the heat radiating from her face. Having shed her hoody long ago during the great Tag chase she wasn't feeling as warm as he probably was but she knew her temperature had risen due to the fact she wasn't cold standing there in only jeans and an old blue Tshirt.

Yeates grinned, "I think I just made you blush," he caressed her cheek, "Yeah definately," he still held her close, not willing to let her go because he was so comfortable with her against him. Like he could stay there all day just holding her, just enjoying the feeling of her against him, warming him. Closure surrounded him, like the final piece to a long puzzle slotting into place after hours of searching for it when you realised it wasn't in the box. He cocked his head to the side, "Who'd had thought ey? Little Anna could kiss like a vixen," he grinned, anything to get her to blush again. When it came down to it Yeates had a wicked way with words when subjects like this arose. He blamed his friends out loud but thanked them right now.

He looked down at her, his biceps flexing as he shiftend slightly, "So how many kiddies eyes did we burn with our excessive pda? Ten? Twelve? How many are there?" he chuckled, "Perhaps we should retreat into the barracks?" he leant in, "I'll make you a cup of tea," he looked her over, "Though I'm not sure how far I'll get,"

There was no doubt that the blush was there...or that it wasn't about to leave if he kept talking like that to her. English didn't hear things like that directed at her all that often. Most men were scared and the ones that weren't treaded lightly. Will was the only one that knew she wouldn't out right kill him so he not only toed the line of her temper, he bloody well tap danced on it. She wouldn't have thought she could turn any more red but at being called a vixen she just about turned purple. "It isn't as if I have had a great deal of practice, now stop that." She all but hissed at him as she pinched his side in hopes of getting him to stop.

When the sprogs were mentioned she groaned and burried her face in his sweater. She had all but forgotten about them all playing behind them. It wouldn't even be the end of the day before the entire Farm know what had been going on. All of them had a tendency to relate gossip like they were little old ladies at the beauty parlor.

"Thirteen. There are thirteen of them. Retreating sounds good as does a cup of tea." She chanced to look up at him her cheeks still bright red from blushing.

"Nonsense," he smirked. It was actually wonderous to hear that English had still managed to remain true to herself, she'd never sacrificed her morals in this new world but many sacrificed their bodies. It would kill him to find out if she'd used hers, ladies shouldn't have to be subjected to that. He'd kill any man who tried to make her change that.

"Unlucky number thirteen," he murmured absently. Yeates grinned down at her and, reluctantly, disentangled himself from her. He draped an arm possesively round her shoulders as he walked them back to the house and ducked through the door to the kitchen. He let her sit down as he ran ran, and boiled water for the tea, leaning against the counter with a smug grin on his face. "Three hours, it will take about three hours at the least for this to be spread like wild fire around the house," he chuckled.

He watched her, admired her, gazed at her with nothing but adoration on his face. "Why did you go out with Hawk?" He couldn't help the question falling from his lips, "I'm sorry I know I shouldn't pry but call it my manly ego pridey protectiveness already seeping over towards you," he smiled, through his obvious horrible thoughts towards Hawk at that moment. They were lessened now that he'd gotten the girl but at the time Yeates remembered being nothing but green eyed as he saw Hawk sling his arm round a girl who should have been his first.

When Yeates wrapped his arm around her shoulders she wrapped her own around his waist slipping an index finger into one of his far belt loops as her hand curved around his hip. English grabbed her hoody which sat draped over the fence when they walked by it and never missed a step as she walked with him. It was a cozy way to move around the backyard and she rather enjoyed it.

Once in the kitchen she stepped from him and pulled herself onto her usual spot up on the counter. It had been her spot in the kitchen since she was tall enough to pull herself up to sit there; it had been hers for twelve years now. "Thirteen isn't such a bad number. Few of them are getting old enough to figure out if they want to move on out into the wide big world. And it will only take them that long if they can't find people." She unlaced her high top Converse and tossed them in the shoe pile by the back door. There was no sense walking on your good shoes when you didn't have to, things wore out too quick as it was.

English was mid pulling her knees up so her heels hooked on the counter when Yeats asked the million dollar question. She should have expected it but she had hoped it would go unasked. "There was never really an us between me and Hawk, we just enjoyed each other's company for a while. It really should have been you but I didn't have the guts. I didn't want you not to feel the same way. No one has ever wanted me and I figured you looked at me the way Bobby did and does…and Bobby forgets I’m even a girl."

Once the tea was made, and lots of it spilt all over the counter, he placed it infront of English and leant back with his hands braced, behind, either side of him. "Why would they want to stray," he frowned, "It's safe here, it's comfortable," he looked around, "I cant imagine not living here," Once upon a time Yeates may have wanted to move on with his life, go to college, get an apartment and live in the city. But now? Home was where the heart was and like that awful horror story Yeates figured his heart was buried under here somewhere. He was perfectly content to stay here, sure he wondered about what was out there but it was never enough to rouse his restlessness and make him leave in search of something better. Leave his brother. He didn't always understand why English sometimes went away and he did mope when he couldn't join her every now and then. Maybe he would ask her one day, or maybe it would remiain a mystery.

Yeates snorted, "I'm very aware that you're a girl," he couldn't help the look over. He shook his head, "Just because you sport a gun, combat boots heavier than my gym kit in high school and swear like a soldier does not mean we forget you're a girl. I happen to think you're the cutest little gun toter on this planet," he winked.

He inhaled and tried to hide the smile as she revealed that despite going out there was really nothing between them. In fact he had to try even harder to quell his joy at the fact that she had been harbouring feelings for much the same time as he had. "Surely there must have been something between you two at some point," he quirked an eyebrow hoping he'd get her meaning, "Like at all?"

English wandered at times because of her temper. She loved most of the people at the Farm and when her attitude reached its worse and her nerves couldn't take any more she packed up and left for a few days. Wren had told her once all she needed was something to release sexual frustrations and English had just turned and walked the other way. She really didn't want to admit it but Wren was probably right. English was wound tighter than a spring.

She smiled lightly when he called her cute. "Bobby forgets all the time. I'm as good as his annoying little brother as you are." She picked up her tea and blew into it in hopes of getting it to cool faster.

"He has a wandering hand that got slapped a few times and you kiss a great deal better than him." She shrugged not really connecting what Yeates was getting at. For all of English's foul mouth and worldly behavior she was really quite naive at times. Her father and brother's had made sure to keep her untouched in her high school years. She would even wager her brothers had talked with Bobby and Will at least once about how protective they were of their darling little sister.

"Hey," Yeates puffed up his chest, "I'm not so little anymore. Besides maybe if you grew your hair again, or put on those ballet slippers and that little leotard, nobody would forget you were a girl," he closed his eyes and bit his lip, "Leotard, where is that heavenly item of clothing?" he peeked over at her with a cheeky grin.

"Wandering hands," he tried to fake a gasp, "Hawk? Never!" he looked at her, really looked at her and tried to wipe the comical image of Hawk being denied from his brain. Secretly he was more than glad that the boy had never gotten one feel of her skin. That was a task strictly reserved for him. "So," Yeates pushed off the counter and walked towards her, "He never did this?" He cupped her cheek then ran his hand down her neck towards her shoulder, down her arm and to rest on her thigh. His lips hovering above hers ever so slightly as his hand moved to circle her thigh and rest under it.

English reached up to touch her hair and for once since she had first cut it considered letting it grow a bit. She took a sip of her tea and set it down beside her. "It is in my room in a box. I think. I know I still have my slippers." She would have to check on where they were just out of curiosity now.

She laughed at Yeates fake shock at Hawk's wandering hands. Everyone knew the co-leader of the Twin Feathers was a ladies man that had girls in and out of his bed like few others. English had never let him get further than kissing and holding her though. She hadn't wanted him to and she hadn't let him. She had few things left in the world but her morals were one of them and she just wasn't going to hop into bed with anyone.

When Will prowled over to her like something stalking its prey she blinked. The feel of his hand on her skin made goose flesh prickle her skin as his hand trailed down her neck and her bare arm. His hand on her thigh made the softest little gasp come from her lips. Her tongue darted out to wet her lips as her mouth all of a sudden felt very dry. "N...no." English had no where to run even if she had wanted to. She was trapped in between the counter and Will and the feel of him leaning close to her between her parted thighs made her mind wander to places it really shouldn't have.

Will's eyes widened as he imagined her dancing around once again. He'd been dragged to enough practices to be able to remember even the music that played as she'd twisted and spun on that dance floor. Though he'd complained that she looked like one of those stuck up rich girls and told her a few minutes ago that he thought she'd grow up to be a famous socialite dancer, it gave him great pleasure to watch her dance. It was awe inspiring to him.

Yeates brushed his lips against hers and closed her in with his entire body, "Well then," he purred, "That was a shame," he grinned wickedly before kissing her again, winding his arms round her middle and pulling her flush against him. Her warmth making him warmer and making his heart swell. He was, of course, painfully aware that he was standing comfortably - or not so comfortably depending on who you asked - between English's legs, her thighs either side of his. Making him bite his lip and try and not think about the very compramising very naughty thoughts that were rushing through his brain. He continued to kiss her, trying to stop himself from loosing all control, whisking her off the counter and running very quickly into his room where he would finally be able to...well everyone knew how that one ended.

His hands had, however, very different thoughts and his plams were now resting under each of her thighs very close to where her bum sat perched on the counter top, he was so lost in their lip lock that all his surroundings were blurred, sound dimmed and time stopped. All there was now was him and her, and him kissing the life out of the girl he'd fantasised about for years. Oh hell who was he to deny his hands that one grope at her ass?

English felt much like a deer caught in headlights at the moment. She was looking up at Will from her seat on the counter, her heart steadily picking up pace with each little touch of his hands. He had already gone further than Hawk had been allowed and English had no mind to stop him at the moment when this was something she had wanted with him for so damn long.

Kissing Yeates was something that English knew she would never get tired of. There was an undercurrent of something just barely held in check with even the smallest brush of his lips to hers. She couldn't help the slightly startled breathy gasp that came from her when she was pulled flush to Will from chest to hip. Her willowy arms circled around his neck before both hands tangled back through his hair, she loved his hair. It was hard for English to have some self control in this situation. The only thing that was keeping her mind from truly being lost was the knowledge that she was in the kitchen. The longer their kiss went on thought the more she wished she wasn’t in the kitchen and the quicker she would forget.

When his hands curved ever higher under her thighs to grope at her bum she jumped a bit hips wiggling at the feel of her all but sitting on his hands. A stifled moan sounded from her and got lost in their locked lips. Her hands already occupied with Will’s hair English’s leg rose so her socked foot could trail up and down his side before curling around his bum and slipping in his back pocket.

Will couldn't stifle the groan any longer and he did so as his lips were still connected to hers. If she kept running her hands through his hair she was going to realise just how hot and bothered he was growing. It was worse when she wiggled her hips, her pelvis grinding against his and making break away and bit his lip so hard he thought he would withdraw blood. "Maybe we should stop," he looked between them both but she was coiled around him like she was holding on for dear life. His lips were cold, he was cold and in that moment he screwed up his face, "fuck it," he breathed burying his face in her neck and inhaling her scent, pressing his lips to the skin and lifting her off the counter with ease.

The tea could wait. There was no way this was continuing in the kitchen. Her legs were wrapped around his and he loved the fact that she weighed next to nothing. It made him feel manly and strong to carry her around the house with gusto and ease. Though the stairs were a challenge he gave up and headed into her room, entering her safe haven and breaking from her gaze as he looked over the room, remembering everything that was in here. The posters, the ornaments, the photos. Everything.

He set her on the bed, hovering over her with an intense gaze on her. Taking in her face at this moment, his surroundings, the way she was responding to him. "Tel me to stop," he breathed, "At any time," why did he want her to tell him to stop?

So he could wake from this almost certain dream.

English was a passionate and tightly wound young woman. She got caught up in moments rather easily if she felt secure, if she wanted what was taking place. When Will pulled away and mentioned stopping she had been ready to tell him he had better not stop. She hadn't had the chance before his lips were at her neck and for once a soft moan escaped her lips and wasn't lost in one of their kisses. She felt herself being lifted up and she instinctively pulled her foot from his pocket and wrapped her legs more firmly around him.

As Will tried to get them to a room English began her own assault on him. Her own lips found his ear and his neck tugging the lob between her teeth softly before she kissed and nipped a trail down his neck. When they headed into her room she kicked the door closed behind them.

Laid out on the bed English made no move whatsoever to let go of Will. His gaze was like a caress all on its own and his words penetrated her hormone soaked brain. "And if I don't want you to stop? You are all I have ever wanted...you have no idea how much I love you...but this might be too much too soon."

Yeates let out a gutteral groan as English nipped his lobe and trailed down his neck. It sent a shiver and blaze toward his groin but he bit back moving slightly so she wouldn't feel it.

Yeates stopped and pulled back, "Realy?" he grinned, "You love me?" he hovered above her, "You love me?" he pulled back and laid by the side of her, grabbing her and hauling her body so that she was lying over him but not on top of him. He exhaled heavily and kissed her forehead, "I think you're right," he blinked, "I want it to be special, I don't want it to be while the kids are running around like loonies," he glanced down at her, "Don't give me that look, I can be sappy too,"

English would have been annoyed normally by being moved around like she were a ragdoll but she had never truly minded when it was Yeates. Once he was laid back and she was laying half on top of him she adjusted her position so her arms lay folded over his chest so she could prop her chin up on them, she didn't want to impale him with her bony chin after all.

Though her cheeks tinged a bit red she looked him right in the eyes and confirmed it all. "I do love you." She laughed and shook her head a bit. "Man of my fantasies it is just they were half hormonal, half of the picket fence variety." She felt rather silly admitting it that now when there was no way in hell she could have it. Yeates wanting their time together to be something more than what it was heading to be meant a great deal to English. This is what she had been wanting. She wanted something more than what the world seemed to allow at the moment but she was still able to find it.
