Daryn was trying to be less of a recluse, but failing for the most part. It wasn't just her mind holding her back, her body was beginning to cause her trouble too. The difficulty with eating was finally catching up with her, and she found her energy levels dropping rapidly. Surveying the meager supply in her kitchen, she decided to force herself out to pick up some sustenance.
The walk from the apartments to the Marketplace was taken slowly, head down and eyes on the path ahead of her. But instead of actively avoiding people, this time she was just focused. She needed to think of some way to get the nutrition she needed without having to rely on solid foods. Had they been anywhere else, the answer would have been easy. Knowing she could no longer rely on her name or reputation for a short term credit, the brunette sighed to herself and turned back. She'd need to go all the way back to get her wallet if she intended to buy anything today.
Now too busy disparaging her forgetfulness, Daryn almost didn't see the young man with the basket. Luckily, she sidestepped at the last second to avoid crashing into him. "Sorry..."
