Also, happy Thanksgiving day to alllll my friends over there. Have a good family/turkey/what-have-you day. And, yes, I'm very, very thankful for my friends. Always.
Also, totally did not need loud muses moving in right now. Not that I'm not enjoying them, but damn, I have work enough to do. Still, I'm almost at 45K with NaNo, and will likely break 50K tomorrow night at some point. Pretty much on time. Will probably take 3-4K more to finish the outline, and I will, too, because I really really want to write those last two chapters/pieces.

So this narrative of sorts (the first part, rest assured I WILL BE CONTINUING THIS) is introducing you to a character that all of the played characters will know and interact with: Lucy Michaelson, Librarian of San Francisco. It is largely introduction, so I apologize if this isn't thrilling.

Jason I like you. I think you think I don't. You're my best friend's husband. You treat her well. Sure sometimes you annoy because you have this incessant need to be right, are slightly paranoid, and are a conservative. But over all, you're a nice sort of guy, and you can see plainly that you love her, so that's brilliant.
But I'm her best friend. She MY best friend. Will you please stop inviting yourself along ANY time we have plans? I've seen her ONCE one on one since you got married six months ago. ONCE. I'm going through some shit and I need her for a few hours, okay? Because while I like you, I sure as hell don't know you well enough to talk about MY problems with, alright?
So fuck you. I know you're newlyweds and in LURVE but get her one fucking night to have dinner with me, or stay the night and have a move marathon. I need her too.

B&W feels like a copout, but at least solves the blotchy skin problems. It's the graininess of the quality of the image, under all that mood lighting.

I am surprised and irritated that there is something WORSE than Dark Blue to icon, for lighting issues alone. And that would be HBP. Because OMG, the darkness! Everyone turns into pixilated ridiculousness after the light correction is done. It's like who turned Draco into a vampire? Man. This is just HIDEOUS. Some of these icons will be stop-gap icons until I can redo the set into something better because I just... I hate some of these. I really really do.
