Well hi, I’m Sethoz or Thoz or really any variation on that. Another Brit like the pervious three, I keep hours so strange that even I can’t tell you when I’ll be on. Most of the time when I’m at university I’ll be up into the early hours of the morning and when I’m not, I’m not on so early/late. I’m pretty much always found on YIM so give me a prod whenever, I’m really always up for plotting, planning, angsting. More angsting. And then some more.
Pretty sure this game will nom my brain to pieces because I’m weak like that. At the moment I only have one completed character but my second is in the works and should hopefully be about soon. Until then, meet;
Andrew Masters. Light Manipulation/Detonation. Basically he can blow up light and also bend it so that he appears invisible. The downside to both of these are greatly restricted eyesight, so in some cases he is actually blind. Despite that he really does love his powers and the feelings he gets from them, that he’s not a ‘nobody’, that in this new and harsh world he is somehow special. He’s an okay guy but very much focused on how things work, the details of things, and the more detailed the detail, the better. He grew up very much an ignored and overlooked child and he sees New York as a way to start afresh. He’s also terrible with people, doesn’t know how to relate to them or really how to understand people and if he decides he’s talked long enough with someone, he could very easily just walk away. Andrew isn’t rude just – socially inept, even though on the surface at least he knows all the right things to say and do, having memorized pervious actions. Andrew’s an electrician and so he’s the one who’s constantly working to make sure the lights stay on as best he can.

Hello all you ladies and gents, I'm Rachel. Some of you might know me from Evo and some may not but that's okay cause I really need to meet more new people anyways. I'm on the otherside of the world compared to most of you but I'm on at weird times. I'm rpjunkie4life on Aim.
Unlike the rest of you XP, I have only one character. But she's fun! Trust me. >D
Her name's Seraphine Milbourough (Don't be surprised if I misspell her name a lot) and she's a pyrokinetic that has no idea about her mutation. Her power has to deal with a psi-based energy that radiates from her body at such a high level that it ignites or cremates anything that it touches. She'll eventually have the ability to control the fires her energy creates but that's awhile away. ANYHOW, she was found in the Nevada desert, near Tonopah if you know where that is and was caught in a radiation blast. The radiation blast almost killed her and left her horribly scarred from head to foot. It's been years since she's been at the complex and spent the first few in the med labs going over heavy treatment. Now most of her skin and body is healed and not much of the scarring is left. She's also the head cook at Miseti. She's a good person but tends to be social awkward at times, mostly in big groups.

Nova Caine (this journal). Pheromone manipulation. Basically the manipulation of emotions and influencing actions of the people around her by emitting pheromones. If she gets her power in check she could not only make people feel certain emotions, but send them to sleep too, perhaps even larger crowds of people if she focused enough and had a good enough grip of her pheromones. Since she has no idea that she is a mutant she has no way of keeping this in check so if she's in a bad mood the people around her will be a little cranky too, likewise if she's in an cracky mood the people around her will feel a little crazy. Nova Caine isn't her birth name, that would be Suzanne Kendrick, but she decided to change her name when her father, with whom Nova was never able to have a close relationship, hung himself, which is sort of partly maybe due to Nova's unchecked powers. >.> OOPS. He kind of lost the will to live when he lost his wife, neglected Nova, who got depressed, whose pheromones got him MOAR depressed.... you see the cycle. She doesn't know that yet though, so shh. XD Anyway, Nova's a typical broody teen who tends to suffer from periods of depression but tries to be as light-hearted as she can, which is kind of hard sometimes. u_u Woe.

That's not to say she's unfriendly or anti-social though, just shy, I guess?

Hezy here! Your second insane modly type person :D Because I sort of fail. And have been doing admin stuff the past few days ONLY ONE of the following characters have a completely finished bio, but the other two should pop up this weekend, so I might as well give you guys a run through on them while I'm at this!
Always feel free to post new character intros like there here btw, we love reading the insights and stuff, and it often leads to plotting! >D I'm GMT like Clez, but I also keep weird hours and I am always open to scenes and logging so no being shy plz.
Characters!
Susan Ash (this journal). Regeneration/Reanimation. Her mutation does pretty much what it says on the tin, though currently Susan is not aware of the fact that she can heal from pretty much any injury. Or die. And come back. This lady is all about the greater good, she's the Chief Nurse at the Medlabs and right now? Pretty stressed out because they're running seriously low on supplies and all that, people who want morphine can't get it, people who stubbed their toes can't get any of the nurses' attention for toffee. FUN TIMES. Anyway, her bio's a tad long winded, but the jist is that she's Canadian, came down to New York to find her brother after their parents snuffed it in the radiation sickness. She's very, very friendly, a little stubborn, bordering on self-righteous, but she would stick her neck out for just about anybody if she felt it was for the right reasons!
Kieran Danvers (nekromantia) Necromancy. Another self explanatory one; Kit can raise the dead, he can see spirits and converses with them and all that, and he definitely knows about his mutation, because they float around a lot and generally piss him off. He is not Jennifer Love-Hewitt, yo. Kit is a generally pleasant guy too, though he tends towards being a tad grumpy due to the constant stream of information from the ghosties around him. He has a tendency to fall in and out of 'love' -which is usually just lust- very quickly, but he genuinely cares about the women he sleeps with and for a few weeks they're like, his ~world~ XD Srsly though, he's another pretty 'okay guy' right now and he's all for making the Complex run smoothly. He is a mechanic :D.

Iona is a waitress at Miseti, she dabbles in photography when she can, she wanted to be a photographer before the war but she kind of knows that's a pipedream now. Morbid is a good word for her. Mor. Bid. Everything is kind of doom and gloom for Iona, she is seriously waiting for the end to jump out on them all, so she's probably one of the people right now who is thinking that the lack of supplies from Horizon is a signal that they're all going to DIE. That said, she actually doesn't really want to die particularly, she just sees it as a probability. Overly cheery people who are all 'trying to make the best of a bad situation' will get her disdain and she won't even waste time trying to make them see the light. She's one hell of a photographer though. MODEST TOO.

Gah, okay, so I’m very excited 8D Clez here, sweeping in to do a little intro not only for myself, but the guys I’ll be playing. I think everyone knows me already at this stage, but just in case: I live in England, but keep wacky hours (I sleep all day and I work play all night XD), so I can usually be found on my listed messenger. If you can’t see me around, just give me a poke, and I’m usually always up for some play or at least some plotting.
As for who I’ll be playing, here’s a little run down:
Aiden Fields (this journal); Lupine Metamorphosis. This obviously means Aiden can turn himself into a big ol’ wolf ;D Specifically, a grey wolf (so he can semi-blend in with all the snow and ice, to a degree), and he’s a fraction larger than any male grey wolf ever recorded in natural history books, even though he’s hardly massive XD! Not that he runs around in wolf form for all to see, of course; he doesn’t want to be shot by the Authority after being mistaken for a wasteland creature, thanks. Aiden is a companionable sort who works as a bartender at Rostat, the more manageable of the two drinking establishments at the Complex, and he’s pretty much up for being anybody’s friend so long as they don’t give him a big reason to hate them. Right now, the most striking thing about him is his hair; he lost a bet to one of his co-workers, and as a result, his usual dark hair is actually bleached for the time being XD BARTENDERS. They know how to spice things up, or something.
Darrien Oakes (yoursormine); Telepathy. Darrien, as of yet, doesn’t know he’s a mutant, so it’s all fun and games for him, hearing the things he hears without explanation XD So for now, he’s just doing his best to ignore the headaches he gets and the ‘things’ he hears, which he’s taking for muttered comments here and there. He works as a mechanical engineer, so he’s one of the technical people at the Complex, and he’s just a tad cranky/bitter about the state of affairs, even though he keeps his mouth shut, because hey, they’re all in the same boat.
Kelly Davenport (likeaghost); Intangibility. Kelly’s able to walk through walls, as it were, but like anyone else with a power, doesn’t exactly flaunt it. Kelly is one of the teachers at the Complex, and a widow who still deeply misses her husband, so she can be a bit melancholy at times, but for the most part she tries not to let it affect her and how she interacts with others. She’s very fond of the children she teaches, and feels most at ease when she’s around then, actually.

Well, as you all know, today would be the 8th of May, and so, let us be the first to say welcome to Deliverance!
As of today, the game is officially open, and we’re very excited, as some of you probably already know. We want to thank everyone for jumping on board with us, and we’ll do our very best to provide you guys with lots of fun and intrigue during the course of the game ;D I won’t say whether or not we have things lined up, because that would be telling, and we’re all about providing a little mystery, mehehehe XD
Right now, all we need to ask is that you make sure your friends lists are up to date, that you’re joined to all the communities, and that you’ve commented on the OOC Chart and the Character Chart, just so us mods can keep everything up to date, to make it all more straightforward for you guys.
There will be a mod-written narrative going up very soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that; it should set the scene and open up a lot of opportunity for you and your characters, and most of all, just have fun, and if you have any questions, don’t be afraid to contact either one of us with whatever you might have on your mind. That’s what we’re here for! ;D
But as I’ve already said, the most important thing is that you enjoy yourselves. Once again, welcome to the game, and have fun!
