Harmonia did not go directly home after parting company with her grandmother. It may not have been the most pleasing thing for Hera to hear, but at the same time, there was no way for her to know how well Balance was hiding the sheer amount of aches and pains her body was sustaining. It was a minor diversion and she was quite determined it was going to be a short one. None of those attendants or nurses or whatever he kept were going to check her in for a say.

No. Just.. no. But, Harmonia would have been a complete moron to think she was able to assess everything entirely on her own for proper treatment. ( Epidarus was the place to go. )

Boredom never suited Enyo. There was a rather dreadful and yet apropos phrase among mortals about how idle hands were the devil's playthings. Well, she didn't believe in the existence in any sort of devil of the likes they did, but it did sort of spark her less than desirable creative traits. Where her siblings were, was anyone's guess. Ares was likely ankle deep in sand, as per usual, and Eris just sort of flitted about like a downy feather on the windy. Enyo would see them both again when it suited them as she had no desire to exfoliate in the desert at the moment or go Geo-cacheing for Discord. So, she had to find her own entertainment.

It did not escape her memory that she did not have the war she wanted and to an extent, deserved. She had put a lot of thought into that, Ares had been so ready to help and Eris had shown them how easy the bait was because Hybris had been holding it. But... it never happened. That was disappointing, if nothing else. Not to mention the lack of Zeus being able to either kill or strike Odin or Thor down a few pegs of arrogance. What was becoming of the Greek Pantheon that they were not able to put a few Nords in their place?

It didn't sit well at all. ( It was also giving her a nasty case of cabin fever. )

The place was packed, which was how it was supposed to be. There were costumes everywhere... also exactly how it was supposed to be. Because it was Halloween. It was also Chicago and Americans went all crazy for the holiday. On top of that, it was Thirsty Thursday, something everyone in the American Midwest was familiar with. Professional drinkers, this lot, and Ninkasi loved them for it. Most of the costumed were immortal in some way, not just gods but nymphs and the like as well, but she was clearly allowing an occasional mortal in as well. There were rules outside to her bouncers for screening them properly.

Shortly, the specialty taps would be opened and her private brews would begin to flow. Which is what, she was sure, Kratos was hoping and/or waiting for. ( Wherever he was. )

Loki didn't get to enjoy Halloween last year. It both did and did not have to do entirely with the situation in his pantheon at that time. He couldn't fault any of them for what had happened, but he did miss out on the opportunity for socially acceptable shenanigans. And while right now his plans included being home in order to give candy to kids that came by -and he hoped it was in hoards because he loved kids, decorating, watching scary movies and trying to talk Sigyn into modeling that set of black lingerie she had taunted him with a photo of when he had been out too late with Hermes. He was not going to rule out the need for some sort of costume, though. There was absolutely no telling what his friends were going to come up with last minute.

Especially Bes. Okay and maybe Hermes. Alright, Mac, too... ( Hell, all his friends. )

Zosime had made herself scarce after helping Tyr get dinner ready. He hated to admit it, even to himself, but the servant he'd rescued from Enyo was becoming invaluable. She was cheery and helpful, but seemed to know when to help and when to butt out. Tyr was used to solitude, and he stubbornly continued to prefer to do the things he could himself, and Zosime had quickly adjusted. They were also beginning to understand each other a little. It probably helped that as he was "seeing" a Greek, he wanted to learn what he could of her language, while Zosime was about as far away from Greece as she could be and needed to be able to get around on her own. With two eager students, it was coming along. Tyr still had to remind himself that he couldn't just go around naked in his own house anymore, but for the most part the arrangement was working. For now. Harmonia had talked about getting her own place, at which time, assuming they were still talking, he was going to suggest that Zosime go with Harmonia.

( The assumption that they would still be talking weighed heavily on what happened tonight. )

Jewelry was right out. A pretty scarf seemed too impersonal. A stuffed animal would be perfect- if they were 12 years old.

This whole shopping thing was way too confusing, and Tyr was getting frustrated.

He wasn't even sure this was necessary. But next month would be their six month anniversary, and he'd heard that girls took a great deal of stock in such momentous occasions. Not that he really thought Harmonia would be disappointed if he didn't get her anything. She might actually not even have heard of such traditions. And it was SIX MONTHS, for god's sake. Six months of DATING. They weren't even in a committed relationship. Okay, they were probably in a committed relationship, at least in that he considered her his girlfriend, and he was pretty sure she considered him her boyfriend, but it wasn't like they were hurrying to a church.

( Thing was, Tyr was pretty sure there was about to be a change of status of their relationship. )

Tyr stood outside the CN Tower in the cold, waiting. He’d gotten there earlier than he needed to, but he didn’t want Harmonia to show up in a strange place and have to wait alone. Assuming she showed up at all. Which he had to assume she would, since she hadn’t backed out so far. Not even after he sent her a text asking her to meet him here. He’d given her a bit of a brief overview, perhaps too brief he had realized on reflection, but enough. He had advised Harmonia that they would be dining in a “fancy restaurant”, as he believed he had put it, the 360 Restaurant by name, and that she should bring a change of warm clothes for after.

( Assuming they made it through dinner and there was an after. )

Tyr was worried.

Not about his brother, which is what he really should have been worried about. Bragi's continued disappearance was certainly on his mind, but it was another matter that had him currently concerned.

( He'd asked Harmonia out. )

It was rare this time of year that he was able to sit down and put his feet up on the tasseled hassock in his study. Which was why, as he settled into the cushy plumpness of his red velvet chair, Santa began mentally reviewing his to-do list for today. Did he really have time to enjoy his peppermint hot cocoa, or had he forgotten something that would require his attention?

The first thing he did upon exiting the temple was turn to the nymph. He did not want to force her into servitude, nor did he know what he would want to do with her if she chose to join him in his home. He supposed he would find something for her to do. Tyr reached in his pocket and retrieved a bundle of cash. Handing it to the servant, he gave her directions to his home in Denmark, explaining that the money would get her there, or wherever else she might choose to go. The surprise on her face and the gratitude in her eyes further solidified that he had done the right thing by removing her from this place. It also appeared she intended to follow through with what she perceived as her responsibilities as she verified the directions he gave her.

So be it.

Barely a full moment passed from the time Harmonia took Tyr by the arm and disappeared from the beach landscape into Concept until they reappeared on Olympus. There was something oddly comfortable about holding his arm, something that Harmonia wasn't sure she liked or thought was appropriate given the circumstances at which brought them here. This was not a social call, this was business. Well, it was sort of a social call, but mostly business.

Once she gathered herself a bit, travel through Concept still left her a little off-center sometimes, she looked around. Whoops. She'd landed a bit off her mark. “I need to work on my aim,” she muttered under her breath. It was just as had happened in Denmark, only this time she was closer than she had been last time. On their left was a large dark structure made of stone and metal. Everything about it screamed war and while Enyo was war, this wasn't the war they were looking for.

Harmonia looked up at the Norseman and let go of his arm. ( He really was extremely handsome. )

The meeting with his family had been difficult, but it wasn't until he was alone that the true implications and inner turmoil began to settle into Tyr's mind. It wasn't just that Loki was free- free and once again able to extend his own special kind of havoc on the world. That alone, Tyr might have been able to deal with.

The Trickster's freedom, according to the prophecy, meant a step toward Ragnarok. Likely toward his death and the deaths of many he cared about. Midgard, Asgard, all of it destroyed, or so he'd heard through various vague retellings of the prophecy. Even so, Ty could have dealt with that as well.

He sat with all the appearance of patience, slowly sipping a mug of mead. To anyone passing by, Odin would look as if he hadn't a care in the world. On the inside, however, his mind was racing and he felt just a bit nervous.

( There was every possibility this would not go as well as he hoped. )

Frigg didn't always cook. While it was in her purview as a domestic goddess, she generally left it for Andhrímnir and his attendants and servants. Occasionally, when the mood struck her, she took to the kitchens like a woman on a mission. Which, one could suppose, she was. After all, it was rare she acted without purpose.

The nightmare involving the Trickster was ever at the forefront of her mind, but she trusted that Odin would sort it all out and report back to her. While her husband sometimes kept his knowledge to himself, if he dared to think he was going to keep the timing of Ragnarok to himself he had another thing coming. She would tell him what-for. If Loki was free and on the warpath, she had a right to know. And soon. Even if it wasn't an immediate threat, it was enough of one to send her seeking out her dear ones and hope they were discreetly prepared for the worst.

( Thor was ever ready, she had nothing to worry for with him. )

It was time. Time to go out and see what the family has been up to. Vidar had no idea how long it had been since he had last seen his father or brothers. He never was good at keeping track of time. There wasn’t much need for it when he was at home or off climbing somewhere. But he was aware that it had been a long time.
