He hated seeing her so torn up about it even still. Not only had Sif never had any sort of closure on her marriage, regardless of the direction it was going to go, she'd yet to decide what sort of direction she wanted to go with it in order to work in attaining that closure. It would eternally leave her in an emotional rut until it was sorted.
Hedylogos was not selfish enough to have never seen and not continually be concerned about it, but until it was something she was ready to work through, he was never going to force it. And now... he wasn't sure he was even the right one to offer advice of any sort.
“I don't think that is sad at all. If you are looking for an objective opinion and advice, someone who was not part of everything you endured on either one side or the other...” He shrugged his head toward his shoulder. “Looking for outside input is quite logical.”
