Dish over dish (tag Hedy)
Christmas was Sif's favorite time of year, although not for the reason anyone else used. This was her quiet time, after the fall harvests had been reaped, but before the first birthing pangs of spring began. She could feel the bulbs and seeds slumbering under the earth, but they remained silent and still. This was the time of year that she could do what she pleased, travel or shop, visit friends....whatever she chose. And tonight, she chose to invite her dear Hedylogos over. Something had been up with him lately, and she was getting a bit worried.
Sif didn't truly think Hedy was in any danger. Despite the fact that he had a tongue that could sometime rival Bragi's, he was a good and considerate soul who wouldn't take advantage of others. Sif had come to trust the Greek god in the times since they struck up a friendship; she cherished having someone she could rely on in her life. Hedy being outside of the politics of Asgard helped as well, since she could confide in him and know he had no ulterior motives.
She left a message on his phone, hoping that he was free tonight to check it, and set about preparing dinner. She had the last of the harvest to work with, and some winter vegetables, and she was nothing if not deft in the kitchen with the fruit of her gifts. Humming a little to herself, she kept busy in the spacious dwelling. If Hedy could not make it, she would simply visit Thrud for a while.
