Jessica leaned on Jason, grateful for the help, even if she felt a little stupid. Being a vampire meant she wasn't supposed to be helpless. Gosh, she just couldn't do anything right, could she?
She shook her head firmly at Jason's offer. It was sweet of him to ask, especially since he was clearly uncomfortable with the idea. But she couldn't do that. He was Sookie's brother, it just didn't seem right. Besides, if Bill ever found out he would totally freak out on her. It just wasn't worth it.
"TruBlood will be just fine. But thanks." She grabbed a bottle out of the opened fridge and cracked it open. She made face as she gulped it down, but was too hungry to wait to even heat it up. It wasn't until she stopped drinking that she became self conscious about it. She always felt a little weird feeding in front of humans, even if it was synthetic blood.
She moved away from Jason. "I don't want to put you out or nothing," she said, though it would be nice to have some company for once. "It's weird, being here without Bill, but I'm getting used to it. I mean, you did get shot tonight and all. So if you wanted to stay...I mean, I don't really know how the healing thing works, even if you just wanted to crash here, there's plenty of room."
She realized she was rambling, and looked at the floor, suddenly feeling awkward. "You know, I should probably go take that shower now. And I'll grab some fresh towels for you too. I think Bill's even got a robe around somewhere."
