Jessica was completely freaked out. This was bad. So, so bad. She closed her eyes briefly, trying to focus on the fact that Jason was hurt, dying even. But it was hard to concentrate will all the blood. She really wished that she had fed earlier. She was just not equipped to deal with this.
"Yeah, Jason. I'm Jessica, Bill's girl." She tried to smile, not wanting Jason to start to panic or anything. She had to remain calm. She had to help him. It was Sookie's brother, for gods sake. She couldn't let anything happen to him.
"You're not going to die," she insisted. "Come on. Let's lie you down, alright. That'll be better." She felt wetness on her face, not knowing whether it was Jason's blood, or her own blood tears, as she lowered him to the ground. "You've lost a bit of blood, yes. But you'll be just fine."
Damnit. What was she supposed to do. Why the hell hadn't Bill gotten her a cell phone?! She needed to get him to a hospital. She wished she hadn't been running so much earlier. Than maybe she could speed to one even with Jason, but that didn't seem possible now, not with all the blood he had already lost.
Wait. Blood. That was it. She was a vampire, right? God, she was so stupid. She should have thought of it right away. It couldn't be hard, could it?
"Jason, stay with me, alright. We'll get you fixed up good as knew, you hear me." She raised her wrist to her mouth and bit down, tearing open her flesh.
"You need to drink my blood, okay? It'll heal you." She held her wrist to his mouth, hoping he wouldn't fight her.
