In a nearly direct contrast to the unseasonable weather of the month prior, June's ... almost normal for this town, this time of year. Weather-wise, at any rate. The unusual event this month aren't so much the weather as what the weather brings. Or what follows the weather, at any rate.

Events
June 6-8 - An unabated torrential downpour leads to flood risks and more than a few plumbing backups.
June 10-15 - After three days of rain, an unnatural fog descends. It's thick, heavy, and doesn't burn off the town until almost noon. It lingers on the mountains until evening. The first day, there's nothing unusual to report, but as June 11th dawns, the first reports of something unusual begin to roll in. Every morning sees the long-lingering thick fog around town. On the 12th, the first "monster" is spotted around town, though always only a fleeting glimpse before it seems to vanish in a fog. Those who witness it describe it as 'something dog-like', then someone decides it reminds them of the Demodogs from "Stranger Things". From there, the monsters are referred to as demodogs by those who happen to overhear it, because hey, they gotta call it something right? Only "it" is "them" ... and by the morning of the 14th there's a whole mess of them. Every time the fog descended, it deposited a bunch of them in the mountains, and on the 14th they descend on the town en masse. It might remind some people of the rage attack the month prior, but this is a whole new breed of fuckery. As far as anyone knows, these animals aren't infected, but they're persistent. They're fast. They're keen. They're savage. Worst of all, they're smart. Detailed Write up
June 20 - Thanks to the hard work and efforts of a handful of technical sorts, Breckenridge now has a local broadcast station on the radio! Any radio that can tune into AM and FM channels can receive the station. Most of the day, recorded music will play, though there will be news updates at 10 AM, noon, 2 PM, and 6 PM, with a potential for more once a larger staff is available to man the station.
June 23 - A late welcome summer neighborhood block party is going on all over town. Residents are requested to treat it like a potluck, to bring something to the table so to speak, though the local restaurants that are up and running are providing the bulk of the food. It's a meet-your-neighbor sort of event.
