Thread: Alicia and George Who: Alicia Spinnet and George Weasley (with some shadowing from Fred, I'm sure!) When: Monday, Mid-evening. Where: The Spinnet home in Brighton, England and then the twins' shop back in wizarding London. What: Alicia wasn't joking when she requested a rescue when she tried to sneak out and away. While her father wouldn't really lock her in her room or anything, considering she's nineteen, he still wouldn't be the easiest person to sneak by when he's listening to the wizarding wireless downstairs. At least, by herself anyway. Rating: PG Status: WIP - Incomplete
She had given it a fighting attempt. Had packed a small duffel and tried to sneak out through the front door before her Dad got home, but she wasn't expecting to run in to him. Saying she was going to visit some friends didn't seem to work since Richard Spinnet was quite an intelligent man. Then the argument broke out. It was the really a typical evening in the Spinnet house. Richard trying to explain that what he was doing was good for them both, and Alicia simply shaking her head and calling him a list of names under her breath.
She had finally taken the retreat to her room, slamming the door behind her. She needed to get out whether it was forever or just a few days. Maybe, by then, her father would stop trying to press all these things in her face. They weren't purebloods. They weren't part of the higher society that ruled wizarding London. They weren't. And they never would be. And he just never seemed to get it.
Alicia was sure he never would.
So she sat in her room, glancing at the clock hanging on her wall. She was hoping George, with Fred in tow, would show up sooner rather than later and take her back to London until things calmed down.
