Thread: Alicia and Miles Who: Alicia Spinnet and Miles Bletchley When: Late Evening, September 27, 1997 Where: A small wizarding pub. What: Miles had been planning a pub crawl before Alicia so rudely interrupted it with her witty banter with him. Despite their little exchange, Alicia agrees to accompany him on this alleged pub crawl because she's a big girl and can take care of herself. Big, bad ex-Slytherins don't frighten her! Rating: We'll mark it PG-13 to be safe for now.
She wasn't sure what possessed her to accept Miles' invitation on this pub adventure. She was trying to find a reason or make an excuse, but she could only come up with insomnia or the fact that she was going insane thanks to her father. Neither were a really good reason, so she was quite defeated there.
It wasn't going to be bad. It wasn't. She could handle herself and if Miles, or any other bloke, tried anything, she'd either curse them two ways to Sunday or hit them. Hard. Despite her appearance, Alicia could hit hard and could taken down a grown man with two good punches; one to the face and one to the stomach. So she wasn't afraid of anyone trying anything too questionable on her.
She had decided to meet Miles at the pub as arriving together could prove to be difficult to explain. Not that she didn't see a problem with explaining there was nothing wrong with who she was meeting, but it was the principle of the situation.
It was already smelling quite sour even from the outside and it was quite loud. As people came and went, though in small groups of two or three, the loud chattering came pouring out and was soon silenced by the door. So far, all the couples parties were so pissed that one or the other were holding the other up. There were the ones, though, that felt heavy displays of affection were key to making the rest of the night magical, apparently.
She stood, arms crossed comfortably crossed against the smooth material of the fitted, long-sleeved, scoop-neck tee shirt in a bright shade of blue and let out a sigh. If he didn't show up, she was going to be genuinely miffed that she came all the way out here at such an hour in the evening to be stood up.
