Daddy,

How are you? I hope you are well. I've been quite worried about you and mum, but I know you are probably doing a lot better than I imagine. I miss you terribly. And when I say that, I mean it twenty times more than you realise! School isn't the same. Everyone is too quiet and too reserved and it's just no fun. This marriage law has everyone quite upset, as I'm sure you know. You know how upset I am.

That's actually the reason I'm writing this time. I wanted to know what you truly think about this situation. Mum says that she feels bad for me, but I'm not sure if she really means it. Do you have any insight?
