I like my Happy Snake icon.
Name: Sarah
Nickname: Twilight Speaks (handle online for, like, 10 years or something)
Age: 27-ish.
Residence: Portland, OR
Occupation: Currently unemployed in the education field (BA in education, California teaching degree). I've done a lot of crap jobs, though. From a horse ranch (from when I lived in Cali) to a video store.
Hobbies: Art, reading, roleplay, karaoke... uh... Rock Band. WoW.
Fandoms: Harry Potter, Star Trek, Metalocalypse, right now. I mix it up. Done some Buffy. ... Idunno. I don't keep track. I'm not a very good fan, I guess.
Favorite CANON HP Pairing: Ron/Hermione, actually. OMG. Lame of me.
Favorite FANON HP Pairing: Snape/Lupin, even though JR killed it. Harry/Luna for het, I think. Iunno.
Favorite HP book(s): oh, man... there were, like, seven of them, right? They all had plusses and minuses. I'll go with the sixth one. HBP. It had curb-stopped Harry and that is fucking hilarious.
Favorite HP character(s): To read? Lockhart, Umbridge, McGonagall, Snape. To play? Snape, probably. I love Lockhart, Lucius, Bill, Lupin... almost everyone I've played regularly.
Least Favorite HP character(s): Grawp. To play? Harry, I think. He could be fun, like in a next gen game, but every game I played him in was always pretty emo.
Random piece of information about you: I am living in a longterm, locked polyamorous relationship (2 girls, 2 guys) that I actually got into - in an extremely roundabout way - through HP roleplay.

Star Trek! My fiance is a bit crazy for Star Trek. No, he's completely insane over it. Any bit of prompting can send him into a ST-quoting marathon :|

OMG. I've NEVER liked Ron/Hermione, but that's probably due to my preferences in rp-world. I liked Ron/Lavender, if only Ron hadn't been an arse XD

Ah, HPRPG. Building relationships. Isn't it great? I actually met one of my first long-term boyfriends from a hp rpg. He even wrote a letter to JK Rowling about it. Hah!

I'm not sure JK would appreciate my letter. "Dear Ms. Rowling,

I met my long-time girlfriend about seven years ago while proofreading gay fanfic based on your characters. That led to some really hot and heavy gay rp action, and eventually I moved to a different state to be with her - and her two husbands! We're all bedded down together, though, and we still often discuss your books... or roleplay gay sex with your characters... or whathaveyou.

Anyhow, thanks a lot!

Love and Kisses,

Sarah"

Ron/Hermione didn't actively annoy me, and there just weren't that many HP canon pairings that didn't. Ron/Lav was funny. I really didn't care for Harry/Ginny at all, barely noticed Bill/Fleur, and Tonks/Lupin - even aside from my slash stuff - really actively irritated me (so irresponsible of them, gah).

I own all of TOS, including the Animated Series, and a great deal of the novels. I was a trekkie before anything else.

Hahahaha! Oh man. You should totally send that :|

I'm not a fan of Harry/Ginny either. And Bill/Fleur I never really understood, as well as Tonks/Lupin. It all seemed forced to me. There wasn't much build up.

I've grown up around Trekkies XD My cousin was one and he used to torture me with all his toys and stuff. It was fun, though.

I have a uniform! LOL

Yeah, I think that's why I ended up liking Hermione/Ron. It's the only pairing that we see developed. Tonks/Lupin and Bill/Fleur to an extent were a little... wtf? Why are all these guys going after much younger women? In Lupin's case, he was going after a girl almost inappropriately younger, and knocking her up immediately to boot! But May/December relationships like that might be smiled upon more in Britain, too, so who knows?

Haha! That's awesome :)

Yeah, I can see that at the very least. It always seemed like Ron and Hermione had a thing. Apparently JK has a thing for old men? Or young women. Either way XD
