Do You Need Me (Over), Do You Read Me (Over)? ([info]info_estatic) wrote in [info]dear_mun,

Current mood: impressed

All of these friendship are going to be fascinating.

Please note that I am not complaining. Simply pointing out. That my life has a tendency to get utterly ridiculous and that my friendships turn into things that are incredibly complicated rather quickly.

Since I am not trying to get bitten, heartbroken, or anything in between, just...be careful, yeah? Not like I don't have enough to worry about.

That said I can't wait for things to get started!

How complicated is 'complicated'?

I've never been very good at measuring levels of complications.

What would an example be?

And don't get bitten. I'd have to figure out how to do something about it.

I could have sworn I told you I get attached.

Yeah you and me both. I don't think I will, though.

And that's bad why.

Good. Good.

Because I say so. It's not bad, directly, it just overcomplicats things. A lot.

I'm pretty good at running, you know. And getting the fuck out of the way. Stuff like that.

Well, I'm sorry for that.

And you should learn to use a rifle or a gun.

It is totally not your fault. It's a hardwired part of my personality.

...This is going to be one of those long, drawn out conversations where I give in at the end, isn't it?

Yes, so wouldn't it be easier to just say: "Okay, Harry. Show me how to shoot a gun."

No I demand to do this the hard way.

I don't really like guns, Harry.

Fiiine.

Nobody likes guns, Livvie. No one is saying you have to strap one to your back and walk around with it.

What? Argument builds character, or something.

I'm not exactly an offense kind of girl, you know.

I have plenty of character, or something.

Are you a defense kind of girl?

I will never turn down character building. Consider yourself forewarned.

That I am, good sir.

You would get along well with my dad.

And if you had to shoot a gun to defend yourself, could you?

Well I shall endeavor to meet him at some point.

Could I? Yes. Would it be my first option? Hell no.

Yes. But not my sister. I'M KIDDING.

I still say you should learn.

We'll see!

I know you do. And I still say that since guns were directly involved in the second most altering event in my life, I would rather not.

Livvie, if we're going by principles, the same thing applies to hoses and drink guns at the bar.

Are "bitten" and "heartbroken" really at two ends of one spectrum?

(Reply to this) (Thread)

[info]info_estatic

Mmmmmm probably not.

[info]psychoschematic
2009-03-22 07:17 pm UTC (link)
I hope not. Because most spectrums have a lighter side and a darker side and both of those look pretty bleak. Makes it less of a spectrum and more of a really shitty circle.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]info_estatic
2009-03-22 07:20 pm UTC (link)
Well I'm not sure what I pick for the lighter end. Happily ever after? Doesn't happen a lot in the world we live in.

And there are always outside influences. Like the million and one Hunters in this area.

[info]psychoschematic

No. No it doesn't. But it's a nice thought, I guess.

There really are a lot of hunters around, aren't there?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]info_estatic
2009-03-22 07:53 pm UTC (link)
Well what you pick for the lighter end of the spectrum, then?

Yeeep. I'm just hoping none of them decide to go gunning after you or anyone else I like.

Balance. I think a good, realistic bright side would be finding balance.

I think, unless they had a specific vendetta against vampires in general, I at least have a good 50-50 chance of staying out of anyone's sights? The odds would be higher if I wasn't someone else about 25% of the time and that 25 wasn't more potent than the other 75.

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]info_estatic
2009-03-22 08:25 pm UTC (link)
That would be nice, I think.

True. I don't really get Hunters, per se, because most of them look at me and start assuming I do a lot of things that I don't, really. As far as the whole 'being someone else' thing goes I, for one, shall hope for the best while preparing for the worst.
