Brian had had lab duty plenty this week, and with the departure of Xavier, he felt he needed to go top side and do something thinking - get in touch with the outside world. He made for the computer lab, instead of checking his laptop in his room frankly because he thought he might spot another person that wasn't a fellow lab-dweller.
As he scanned the stories in the news to do with the MRA situation, he nibbled on his lower lip with dismay. He worried for Betsy - wherever she was, and he worried for his fellows and students and older colleagues. Things could get shady real fast, and the brit wasn't sure he could follow the Professor's lead and deal with things in a political fashion. He was itching to exercise more than his medical talents - and the Danger Room wasn't cutting it. He had an even head on his shoulders, but things were getting out of hand here in the US, and from what he read, things weren't much better for mutants in his homeland, either.
His hand moved to his chin and his elbow rested against the edge of the long desk, and he rested his eyes a moment. "Shit," he muttered. He wasn't even sure how he would be dealt with, being an 'alien' and such. He'd yet to find the information on foreigners to do with the MRA, but he'd keep looking.
'Yes, Braddock', he thought sarcastically, 'the internet is a great place to be to help you relax'. Hardly.
