The giant shadow hand made a swipe at her, only to miss. The talons on the claw-like hand embedded themselves into the wall and the hand was pulled back, leaving deep claw marks in the wall as it did so. There was a hiss of frustration and a pair of glowing eyes flared to life in the shadows even as the shadow continued its pursuit of Susan.

The hiss was joined by the soft whispers of children laughing and one phrase repeated over and over. "Tag her, Tommy! Tag her!!"
