DO NOT PASS THIS UP: ALL MUST READ!!!
This is going to be one of those BIG mod posts. So, please don't pass this up. I know it's a pain in the ass, but it must be done. First off, I am pleased we are getting more activity in here. I'm glad to see it! It makes a mod proud. And all of you should be proud of yourself for those really being committed. But there is a difference between starting a thread and keeping it up, then starting a thread and phasing out. When threads lag, the storyline lags. We don't like to see that happening. So, if you start a thread, reply to it. Sure, your muse may be dying, but there comes a time where you just have to force it out. You can't just not reply. The three day rule is not to be taken lightly. It's more then enough time for you to get in a reply. When we were over on GJ, we had threads that went on for 1-2 months. MONTHS. And these were only between two characters. Now, call me out if we are insane, but MONTHS seems extravagant.
So, this needs to stop. I don't like writing these. I honestly don't. I'm sure you don't like seeing them. So, let's fix this problem. If you're going to start threads, then you need to finish them. Small threads, between two people, should be done in 1-2 weeks. Larger threads, between more then two people, should be finished a 2-3 weeks. But let it be known, this doesn't mean the three day rule shouldn't be taken into account. It's STILL a rule. If you can't make the deadline, you need to contact the mod and the player you're threading with. It's really easy. So, easy that you can even use the ooc community for it. Two birds with one stone. You know?
Recently, we had to drop our Angel because his lack of activity. We don't like to purge our players for something that should be already known and done. We all have our problems, that keeps us from playing actively. That's fine. Just let us know. We won't know if you need time, if you don't tell us. It really isn't hard, you guys.
Which brings me to a few others things:
1) The mods will be recruiting to get some more muns and characters. While this isn't mandatory, if any of you would like to volunteer to help, we'd greatly appreciate the effort. =D
2) We seemed to have more effort when we had the awards promotion. While, yes, they did disappear, we are giving you the opportunity to state if you want them back. So, if you do, please let us know, and depending on the amount of votes will bring them back in!
3) Char had an idea to promote more activity. We will be doing impromptu questions on the ooc board, that all your characters can respond to in character! Hopefully that stirs up some interest.
Let it be known that we are always looking for plot. If any of you have any ideas, don't hesitate to tell us. We'd LOVE to know. And we'd really like to have some plot to involve a group, to where all characters can easily get involved in.
