URGENT!!
READ THIS. DO NOT OVER LOOK. I MEAN IT. IMPORTANT!
first off, christina and e.c. has sadly decided to pull out of the sl. it's sad to see them go. they will be missed. i've decided to drop azazel, cole, and the immortal. why? because i'm picking up sam ( and maybe xander ). i was going to pick up dean, again, but sam is way more important as far as plot goes. the reason i'm dropping so many characters, is because they are way too much for me at the moment. so, azazel ( the yellow-eyed demon ) will be npced, if anyone needs him for plot. the immortal is up for grabs. and if anyone can find us a good dean, that would be great!
aside from the drastic cut down of characters, we need to get dust till dawn back in shape! the lack of activity here is disappointing. i worked hard to keep dust till dawn alive, even after the dramatic move. it took me days to get everything transfer for you guys. when i don't see activity, it makes me feel like i failed as a mod. this is the first storyline that i ever ran as main mod. it's difficult. i really like to see it become successful. why? because we've come to far. if it fails, all that effort we put into this storyline as a team would be for nothing. i don't want it to come to that. so. what are we going to do about it? well, i can't force you guys to post, and i'm not a cruel mod to im and nag all of you. i shouldn't have to, and neither should char. so, here's my plan:
1) i will be pimping this storyline all over ij and in aol chatrooms ( if anyone would like to volunteer, just putting up a little room promoting the storyline would be great, while you are doing whatever online. or even making a quick post on rpg ads ). i realized we don't really have that many muns ( especially with christina and e.c. gone ), it's just a lot of you picked up multiple characters. which i appreciate from the bottom of my heart, cause we needed those charries. even the originals provide a bit of originality to the storyline. so, hopefully, finding us new muns to play with will inspire some activity.
2) this isn't as much as a plan, but a goal. i'd really like you all to try to interact with everyone. most of you have, but some of you ( i'm not going to call out names ), have been sticking to playing with only one, or two players here. that's just...not good. not that i'm forcing you to play with people you don't want. but you must remember you're playing a character, and on the shows, all characters interacted with everyone ( especially canons ).
3) i want to endorse in more group threads. even if it's mindless communications between characters. i really miss the scoobies getting together for a little chat. i will also be making a npced journal that can be used for demons, and temp characters that everyone can access ( ok. so i stole this idea from char and tay. shut up! they are geniuses! ). this can be great for bigger threads, too.
4) remember all of you need to let me know if you plan on being on hiatus. how can we know if you're still interested in the sl, that you just need a break from roleplaying if you don't tell us? that's what the ooc community is for. just a quick post won't hurt. and if you want to drop out, don't feel that we will be upset, cause we won't. we understand. but we do need to know.
5) either today, or tomorrow, i will be working on the sl making changes. first off, we will have a new premise, as i have told you before, hell will be unleashed and the first will become corporeal. azazel and the first will confirm their alliance and build up an army.
6) i really want to do a thread soon with the winchesters finally meeting the scoobies. it's been months since this sl has been running, and they still haven't met.
so, there. not to much to ask for, right? char and i may be the mods, but without you guys, this sl would be nothing. =D
