Who: Sirius & Andromeda What: Discussing life choices Where: Outside of Slytherin to start When: Early evening, after dinner Rating: Medium, I'm sure Sirius will swear
Running into Regulus this morning could have gone worse. It certainly could have gone better, though. Sirius hadn't really been prepared to see his brother, and he hadn't really wanted to. Seeing Regulus just reminded Sirius of the heavy decision he needed to make. Sirius knew which way he wanted to choose, but apparently not many others were on board. Andromeda wasn't, and Sirius couldn't imagine that Regulus would be happy if he never came home. New cat and all or not. Although, if he wasn't living at Grimmauld Place, maybe Sirius would get a pet. On second thought, that might be bad idea. He'd be compelled to shape-shift more than was safe.
As Sirius ate dinner, he realized there was one thing he needed to go. Talk to Andromeda. He'd been avoiding and ignoring her for the past few days, and he'd been encouraging his mates to do the same. The last thing he wanted or needed was a lecture from Andy. Sirius decided to leave dinner early. He moved quickly though the halls, and hid in a corner near Slytherin.
From then on, he waited. When Sirius finally caught a glimpse of Andromeda, Sirius reached out and touched her arm. "Follow me," he hissed, and turned without waiting for a response. This wasn't a conversation he was going to have in an open hallway. Rounding a corner, Sirius skirted into an empty classroom and waited for Andy until he closed the door.
