Having been out of the country on "family" related business, Draco was surprised to find himself actually glad to be back in England. He hadn't considered the wretched island to be his home for many, many years and now home it seems to have become once again.
His updating of Malfoy Manor still continued while he was away, and the one wing where his mother had inhabited while she was alive was nearly complete. Draco did not like modern counterparts to the furniture which his parents had furnished the Manor when he was a child, so he had searched all of England and even other countries for similar pieces to the ones that had been damaged or destroyed due to neglect or the Ministry when they had searched the Manor after the war.
Draco went into Diagon Alley that morning for various necessities and instead of carrying along the usual main strip of the wizarding conglomerate of stores, he turned down Knockturn Alley - a place which he felt more comfortable due to the exposure he received there as a child. He stopped in front of a store which his father had patronized to dispose of dark items when the Ministry was raiding on frequent basis before the war.
Draco smiled when he saw just how the name of the shoppe had changed. Oh he knew and was aware how Pansy had taken over the business but this was his first time seeing it face to face. The store front was also changed and he wondered to himself if Pansy was aware just how much the business now stuck out like a beacon of freshness and paint amongst the drab, dark other businesses around it. He surmised that most likely she did.
He pushed the door open and a cheerful little bell rang out. Well that was new.
