Daphne opened the door to her shop and sighed. She had been gone for a long time. She had been with Anne and the children in France, enjoying their newfound freedom.
Daphne had returned two days ago and took her first step into her home that Anne had returned to her. Getty and Linc had immediately set about making sure everything was still in its place and that everything was clean. Daphne had gone to take a nice long hot bath.
Daphne removed the sign from the window saying that she was away on personal matters. She flipped her sign to open for the first time in a few months. She went to the backroom and saw a wand that she forgot to send off before she left. Daphne quickly sat down to write a letter to the owner of the wand to apologize for the long wait.

Please forgive me for being so absentminded enough to forget to send you your wand before I had to leave. Your wand is ready and you may come pick it up whenever it is most convenient for you.

She grabbed her owl and tied the letter to its leg, instructing it on whom to take it to. “And be fast.”
