The day had been long. Oliver Wood wasn't allowed at either Friday's game or Sunday's game against the Cannons. The healers rightfully thought he wouldn't be able to keep himself calm. He had gotten to the clubhouse early in the morning and had spent all day going over the game memories in the archives.
He walked out, flexing his shoulder muscles, and sighing heavily. He was tired, but he felt alive for the first time in days.
"Sellmont," he yelled down the hall, "Get your arse in gear. We've got an offense planning meeting now!"
Wood grabbed a pad of parchment from his desk and headed for the conference room, taking his usual place at the front of the table.
"Alright, listen up."
He walked out, flexing his shoulder muscles, and sighing heavily. He was tired, but he felt alive for the first time in days.
