Headlines for the week
Monday
The Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival begins today. Showings will be all over town. The Beverly Arts Center will be hosting several events over the course of the month. This years celebration of GBLT on film and video includes over 100 independent films by talents artists. Check it out!
Thursday
In the early morning hours an O'Meara Inc ship was boarded and liberated of it's more important cargo, a large weapons cash. Inside information would have Italians at the hands of this particular crime however as neither group was exactly working within the bounds of the law, no formal reports are available. Just rampant rumors across the dock yards.
Friday
Lucky Strike Lanes famous Rock'n'Bowl is back! Come enjoy good music, good drinks and all you can bowl from 9pm until 1am. Flat rate for the time, get in as many games as you can. Shoes are additional.
Sunday
There is a special invitation to all to attend services at Trinity Cathedral Eastern Orthodox Church. This invitation is open to all, a message of peace is extended to all in these rough times. Unable to make the services at 10am? Feel free to help in the evenings at Trinity's homeless shelter. Volunteers are always needed.
