{WHO} Athena Malfoy and Albus Potter
{WHEN} 17th February
{WHERE} 5th Year Slytherin Girls' Dormitory then...
{WHY} because Athena is bored
{RATING} TBD
{STATUS} closed, incomplete.

Bored out of her skull, Athena dragged her messenger bag across the floor. She was way too lazy to carry it because she was not in the mood to be carrying physical weight when she clearly had the mental weight of being bored. Her blonde hair was in a ponytail as she dragged her bag up the stairs to the girls' dormitory. She should have carried it for the mere safety of her books not tumbling out, but apparently, they weren't going to. Once she reached the top, she stopped for a moment before wandering towards the door leading into the fifth year rooms.

Dropping her bag next to her bed, she reached her closet and pulled out some more comfortable, casual clothes. It was a grey sweater with a loose neck and long, comfortable sleeves and a black skirt, fairly short but not too short. Athena never wore things that made her that revealing. Taking off the vest and tie, she hung them in her closet on the hanger marked 'Sunday.' She had to remember which ensemble she wore when and unlike most other students, she also had black robes for all of the days of the week. There was no way she would wear the same one seven times. That was just repulsive.

Taking her shirt off, she fumbled in the closet momentarily for the hanger that belonged to her shirt. In fact, Athena was making so much noise looking around in her closet that she was oblivious to the other company that she had in her dorm room.

Albus had decided it would be fun to initiate a little contact with, Malfoy. Not Scorpius or Phoenix, but the youngest, and the femail, Athena. She had proven to an extent through recent journal conversation that she wasn't exactly like her siblings. Thus, intriguing the middle Potter child. Of course, instead of contacting her normally, he decided it would be fun to surprise her, which meant sneaking into the girls dorms.

It was nothing, he has done it numerous times in the past, so he knew the way by heart. Dressed in a black tank top with a white button up shirt that was unbuttoned and light colored jeans. He was a bit bored himself, so the rush he recieved as he prowled around, sneaking helped bring a sense of excitment. Not to mention the chance he might get the chance to enjoy the scenery.

Athena, was stationed in the fifth year dorms. Lucky for him he was only a year above, so he didn't hesitate in winding his way through the secret passage until he exited just into the hall leading to said dorms. With a smirk, he made his way through, watching carefully for anyone that could catch him. He had never made it a point to find where she stayed, so it took him a moment to locate her. Eventually, however, he did. Rounding a corner, he stumbled upon a girl, rummaging through her closet. She had no shirt, and Albus, smirking couldn't help but let his eyes wander. Sure he was being a peeping Tom, but he couldn't resist. After a few moments he realized who it was. Athena! Stepping in further, still smirking he spoke. "Could you point me to Athena Malfoy's section please?" He asked, knowing full well who it was all along.

Finally, Athena found the hanger that her shirt belonged on. Putting the white shirt on the hanger, she hung it back into the closet before she heard a voice. It was obviously a male voice, which was enough for her to get alarmed. Spinning around quickly, she glared at the visitor in the door. It took her more than a couple of seconds to realize that it was Albus Potter. Scowling, she moved to her bed quickly and snatched her sweater, pulling it over her head swiftly.

Finally, now that she was wearing a shirt, she crossed her arms over her chest. He just barged in there, asking for her. She wasn't an idiot; she very well knew that Albus knew it was her. Besides, why else would he have been smirking if he didn't know it was her? Running her fingers through her hair, she walked over to her bed and grabbed her skirt off of the bed. "Well, way to make an entrance."

Albus had not expected her to greet him warmly with such an introduction, but he was unable to resist. He made sure to stand far enough away so she couldn't slap him or throw something at him. If she did he would have enough time to react and try and get out of it's way. Propping a shoulder against the nearby wall, he folded his arms across his chest just standing there watching her. She was definitely a spitfire, he could tell that much as she hastily pulled on her shirt, giving him quite the look.

After a few moments when he felt it was safe to move on in, he walked and made himself at home, plopping down on her bed. That's how Albus was, he was very outgoing, wasn't shy in the least. Arms tucked behind his head he looked up at her, grinning. "You know me, love. Always gotta make an entrance. I must say, it was quite the show I saw too." His grin widened as he flashed her a wink. Finally he pushed himself up, sitting on the edge. "So, are you gonna glare at me the whole time, or are we gonna begin the fun?"

Watching the other Slytherin warily, she pulled her wand out of her pocket and recited something quietly that switched the two articles of clothing and before she could blink, the skirt she had been wearing previously that day was in her hand. Walking over to the closet to put that away with the first shirt, she succeeded, closing the closet with a snap. Turning around, she saw Albus propped comfortably on her bed.

She couldn't help the scowl on her face at his remark. However, her words dripped sarcasm. "Oh, that show was just for you," she told him, walking near her bed and toeing on her trainers. She pulled the band from her hair and fingercombed her hair a couple of times, figuring it would just fall into place like it usually did. "Glaring at you the entire time could only provide me with so much entertainment," she told him as she made her way back to the door.

She turned for a second, holding the door open with a smirk on her face. "Besides, there's not much to glare at." And she was out the door, down the stairs, standing in the Common Room, waiting for Albus' remark of retaliation.

Albus was as carefree as any one person could get. Sure she was a Malfoy, and if any one of her brother saw him near her, much less sitting on her bed, all hell would break loose. Did that bother him? Not in the least. To him, Scorpius and Phoenix couldn't see what was going on two feet in front of them. They were blinded by their arrogance and pride. Athena was different, as far as he could tell, but she still carried that Malfoy swagger, that confidence.

As he looked up at from his post on the bed, he could only grin. Why he even bothered to speak of such things was beyond him. She was probably the one girl he could never be anything more than an acquaitance with. Which was fine by him, it wasn't like he was expecting anything. But that still didn't change his curiosity of why she actually treated him with some kind of respect. "I already know. I could tell from our journal conversation you wanted me. But relax, all things come with time." He grinned then flashed her another wink as he teased her.

As she made her way out, leaving naught but another bit of sarcasm, Albus couldn't help but laugh aloud. Such a fiesty lass she was. It was amusing. Well, he decided it was time to let the games begin. Pushing himself up, he turned, reaching into his pocket pulling out an origami rose. He had written a few words for her on it. 'Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and not judging, Athena. It means a lot.' He placed it on her pillow, then bounded out of the dorms and into the common room. "But you haven't seen me nearly naked yet, love!" He exclaimed grinned as he turned the corner, looking straight at her.

Athena was well into the Common Room, already at the portrait with her arms folded more comfortably across her chest than aggressively, like earlier. Albus finally appeared at the top of the stairs and she had to stop herself from snorting at his comment.

Rolling her eyes, she pushed the portrait open and waited for him. "Still," she said with a lazy drawl, "don't think there'd be much entertainment in that." She waited for him to join her as she was on the impatient side and halfway out of the Common Room already.

As soon as he did make his way down, she let the portrait close. She walked a couple of steps towards the ground floor, before looking back over at him. "Well?" She shrugged at him, brushing her hair out of her eyes so she could keep an eye on him. She still didn't know him very well and couldn't help but be on her guard. "I'm getting bored, very fast. You should do something about that, shouldn't you?"

Albus jumped down the last to stairs, stopping and looking across the room at Athena. He couldn't help but find the whole situation slight humorous. Here he was, a funloving, mischief making jokester, holding court with a prideful confident woman. It should make for an interesting day.

Now, slowly making his way across the common room, hands sliding into his pockets, the playful smirk still bright on his lips, he awaited the inevitable comeback to his remark. And there it was, the little minx shot back at him just as expected. "If you're a good girl I may just allow you to experience it. Just so I can watch you eat your words." He winked at her again, picking up his pace and ducking out of the portrait hole.

As he stood in the dungeons, he took a few steps then stopped. His arms now folded across his chest as if he were being stubborn and refusing to budge. "Well what?" He asked, brow arched, head tilted to the side. "Why bother walking up so many stairs when there are plenty of other ways to move about the castle?" He inquired, looking at he devilishly. "If you want me to do something about that, then follow me. But first, what is that your highness would like to do?"

It was an odd combination, the two of them. What with the constant badmouthing of Albus from Scorpius, she'd expect him to be much less companionable than what he said. It was a good thing that Athena took her own opinions in her own hands before judging someone else accordingly. He wasn't as bad as she had heard, which still surprised her to some extent.

"I'm a Slytherin, nevertheless a Malfoy. Those good girl moments might be few and far between," she told him with an eyebrow raised and a small smirk on her face. It was true, she couldn't protest. Athena wasn't always good. But who was, really? "The only way you'll watch me eat my words is if I decide to ingest one of my Potions essays."

With a quick roll of her eyes at him, she said, "I know plenty of ways about the castle," she told him, "Although I'm sure you know all the ones relative to sneaking into other people's quarters." Her smirk widened a little when he referred to her as your highness.

"The great Albus Potter has respect for those better than him," she joked, cracking an insivible whip at him. She didn't realize how much like her brother she sounded when she said that, but she was only joking, so she wouldn't think about it like that. "Seeing as you are being the entertainment, I give you free reign. Just as long as I come back in one attached and unbruised piece, I'm impartial, really."

Albus had not a care in the world really. Especially when it came to people talking about him, putting him down. He shrugged it off, moved on and enjoyed his day to day activities. Little did he expect that those activities would one day lead him into spending time with Athena. It would almost be bittersweet, had he been one to consider the gears of fate, but things like that seemed to be more for the dreamers and the Divination students. To him, it was a testament that no matter how one was raised, should they so choose, they can forego their parents and families beliefs and choose to live the way they wanted.

"Lucky for you I also like the bad girls then, huh?" He retorted with a triumphant smirk as he still stood there refusing to take a step further. He knew full well what she meant by her statement, but Albus being Albus decided to add his own little twist to it. Of course he was expecting another comeback, possibly even a slap if she ever got close enough, but that's what made it fun. He was able to be himself, and she never actually judged him because of his blood or where he came from.

Giving her a wave with his hand, telling her to follow him he turned to walk down a dimly lit passage. To him the art of sneaking about was much more rewarding that what most believed it to be. "Not just sneaking into people's quarters, love, but sneaking just about anywhere you want to go." He nodded, looking back over his shoulder, again flashing her a wink. He had decided it would be fun to do a little pranking. Besides him not doing anything like it for awhile, it would be a good way to see how she handled him at his best. It was sort of like a test, but a much more fun variety. And of course, the target, none other than Scorpius Malfoy, her brother.

As he come to an old suit of armor, he stopped, and grasped the hand of it. A small passage was revealed and with a grin he motioned for her to enter. "Ladies first, madam." He give her a small bow, still holding his grin. At her next comment he did nothing but laugh. Finally a bit of that Malfoy flair poked through, even it was just her teasing him. "Well, seeing as you are far more shaply and curvacious than I am, and with my male DNA, I find no reason to argue that point, love. Cause you definitely look better from this angle than I would." He went on to tease her, enjoying every moment of it.

On the other hand, the youngest Malfoy was less than carefree about people putting her down. Not personally, but her parents, not to mention her brothers would have question upon question to barrage her with if she at least looked like she wasn't royalty at all times. So it was different, being around someone who didn't expect her to constantly prove herself. At least in stressful ways.

The only way Athena needed to prove herself with Albus was maybe with witty comebacks and the occasional glimpse of her true personality. It was a relief, but it was also hard for Athena to let go of the part of her personality that kept her in check.

She shook her head at him, finding him ridiculous. But amusing, oddly enough. Why was it that people were so blinded by things as meaningless as blood purity? Athena knew that somewhere inside everyone, they had the conceit she had been judged on. Feeling that she only deserved the best...what normal person wouldn't think that for themselves? And just because Athena thought she was number one (in reality, to herself, she was and she deserved tot hink this) people judged her like they had Scorpius and Phoenix. For once, she had a chance to show who she was. Not little Scorpius Malfoy's sister. Athena Malfoy, a completely different person.

"I wouldn't be lying if I said you weren't impartial to a lot of women, would I be?" She told him with a genuine grin on her face. It was something rare; as a Malfoy, she smirked and scowled and drawled, but smiling and grinning were reserved for relatives and maybe elders. No one else. But she couldn't help it, none of the typical expressions fit. She was starting to become slightly agitated with her family morale. But she couldn't quite get up the courage yet to stand against them completely.

Rolling her eyes at him as she entered the passage before him, she turned her head to make sure he wasn't trying anything silly. She couldn't help her insecurity for that moment and when she saw that he wasn't, or at least looked like he wasn't, she turned again. "I'm glad your testosterone has my health in regard," she said, presing the back of her hand to her mouth to muffle her laughter. Everything seemed to echo in the passage.

"Besides," her voice resonated powerfully, "I know many humiliating hexes. I don't have to practice what my brother preaches, but I do learn some handy stuff from him." She laughed again as she remembered learning how to illusion, remove, replace, deflate body parts from her brother. Of course, there was always pointless drivel in between, but she never minded it as long as she got her information from it.

Ducking into the passage behind her, Albus made sure to secure the entrance, not wanting anyone to find it and follow them. It was dark in the tunnel, as expected. Retrieving his wand, Albus muttered the Lumos spell, the tip of it instantly giving light. Athena come into view almost immediately, and unable to resist the position they were in he trailed his eyes up and down her body. "Damn." Thats all he said as he slowly followed behind her through the tunnel.

He had to wonder what she was thinking. Of course someone of her upbringing would have never been considered anything less than royalty. She had no doubt been given everything she wanted or needed. Still, she was different, and no matter how hard he tried to find any sign of her not being real, he couldn't. Even as she did retort with her come backs, her words dripping with sarcasm. It was extremly fun, and altogether humorous. Still, he himself stayed wary of her, though with each passing moment he was beginning to understand and trust her all the more.

At her next question, he stopped, laughing out loud, his voice reverberating through the tunnel. Sure he flirted, acted as if he would take any woman that offered herself. Truth be told that flirting was just something he did. He didn't see the harm in it, though it had led to a few casual flings. But to him, his impartiality with women only went so far as their origins. It made no difference whether they were pure, half, or even muggleborn. Just as it made no difference what any of his mate's blood status was. Everyone bled red, everyone had a heart, two lungs, ten toes and ten fingers. And even if they didn't what give him the right to judge them? Nothing. "If by impartial you mean equality then no, you wouldn't be lying. As for the flirting, everyone does it, I just do it a little more."

Finally they had reached the end, the exit would lead them straight into Scorpius' Head Boy quarters. He has done this before, quite a few time actually, and now come the moment of truth. Would Athena go for it? "How about any spell that removes clothing? Can you do that?" He asked, holding his wand up to illuminate his illustrious grin. He loved the game of wits, the way she carried herself, never giving in. It made him respect her all the more. "And now, the moment of truth arrives, love. Just outside this exit lies your brother's quarters. Are you in for a little bit of fun?" One brow arched, as his voice grew low, almost monotone.

As the light went out from the tunnel, Athena knew how far away Albus was from her. It was just something that you could tell, but his wand quickly replaced the darkness with the glowing magical light from his wand. Hearing a muttered obscenity, she didn't think much of it at all. It sounded harmless. Normally, she would have turned and interrogated him, but the purpose of her change now was to be who she truly was. She had often locked away her personality and now, for someone she didn't trust as much as others, trying to release it. It was difficult, but slowly she found small bits of success.

When the absence of footstep preceeded laughter, Athena turned in her place, looking at him with the smallest hint of a smile. No connotations of a negative kind at all. It was a start, she had to say. It was something that she was really curious about. She knew of him as hitting on most girls in school, and only wanted to know if it had just been a case of his reputation preceeding his personality. Which, in that case, it slightly had been. She shrugged.

His question had seemed more out of place than anything. Stopping as she realized she had been standing in front of a door, she turned to face him yet again, an inquisitive look on her face. "Yeah, I --" she stopped her thoughts as he continued to speak, hearing more of the conditional terms. She heard his voice fall flat to a monotone droll and she couldn't help but watch him for a moment, wondering what he was thinking about her and about how she would react to his question.

Well, there are surprises no matter which way you look. Remaining completely void of expression, she said, "Of course. I can remove, transfigure, deplete, deface...do anything to clothing." And her voice filled with venomous sarcasm that dripped heavily.

And when heavily described it, the weight of her words made it clear that she was being sarcastic. "And why would I want to do something like that to my adoring and selfless brother Scorpius?" With a smirk on her face, contradicting her words, she turned the doorknob and instantly, the tunnel was filled with light.

He didn't immediately move to exit the passage. He was still uncertain whether she would be willing to prank her brother. Personally he didn't see what was wrong with it, to him, it was a sibling being a sibling. He done it to James all the time. But, then again, he wasn't a Malfoy, and the special bond he had with the members of his family may have offered him a bit more lee way, when it come to doing certain things.

Still, he wanted to have the fun. And whether or not she was in wouldn't stop him. He would let her go about her merry way, and then continue on with his plan. Somehow their conversation had taken on a sort of witty sarcasm towards one another. It brought along entertainment of course, but every so often he would find it difficult to ascertain whether she was merely being fun with her sarcasm, or if that sarcasm carried with it truth. Of course, either way, Albus would continue his usual manner, just to see how she would react.

As she answered his question, he couldn't help but allow his smirk to grow. He already had a feeling that she was a capable magic user, but to hear her answer made it somehow more fun to know. "Nothing beats the old fashion way though does it?" He inquired, eye brow arched, smirk in plain sight. "As you so proved when I first arrived in your dorm."

When she opened the exit, he snuffed the light of his wand, following her as they stepped out. Everytime he stepped foot in Scorpius' chambers, it was hard for him to keep from laughing. The man had to be the vainest person he had ever seen. "Adoring and selfless?" He asked as he moved to pick up a picture of Scorpius, shaking his head as he looked at it. "Look at him. Even you have to laugh at his vanity." He held the picture up. It was a picture of Malfoy, shirtless, standing by the ocean, his expression was one that he attempted to use to make himself look more appealing. To Albus, it made him look constipated. "To answer your question. It's simple. Fun. Seeing his reaction, enjoying the frustration put upon him. Not to mention a woman that engages in such hijinks adds to her appeal."
