I've added a couple new psl ideas to my journal. All my lines involve unusual angst causing surrogacy in different settings. Gaslighting and brainwashing or body horror of various forms could be involved in some of the options, but it's a question of what both parties agree to. I'd especially like to fill the two psl ideas below, but there's more in journal.
mercreatures will play either role Alaine/Alec's family is in dire straights. Their parents died when they were young and all they have left is an uncle who is now deathly ill. To pay for medical treatments, Alaine/Alec agrees to work with the owner of a traveling show who has an idea for a new exhibit. Alaine/Alec is injected with some of a cache of long since extinct mermaid eggs that was found. While hosting the eggs, Alaine/Alec temporarily sprouts gills, scales and a tail and is part of the show.
Robin/Ryan is their caretaker, keeping their exhibit clean, overseeing their transport and making sure that Alaine/Alec is comfortable. Alaine/Alec can't help but grow fond of Robin/Ryan, be it Stockholm Syndrome or something real, but Robin/Ryan has a dark secret all their own and they're not sure how Alaine/Alec would feel if they knew the truth.
planet darss 2 will play alaine/alec After a plague caused partial infertility among the masses on the planet Darss, the populace briefly flourished as the demand for food and other supplies dwindled. The planet was able to feed the starving masses, but then things started to get difficult as the population dwindled.
That was where Robin/Ryan came in. Robin/Ryan is scientific prodigy trying to fix the infertility problems. Among their test subjects they find Alaine/Alec, who has been down on their luck as of late. Despite being an artistic prodigy, Alaine/Alec burned out fast and hard...but they're also fertile and capable of carrying children. Robin/Ryan lets Alaine/Alec move in with them as long as Alaine/Alec agrees to act as a test subject for their fertility studies. The more children that Alaine/Alec can have, the more money Robin/Ryan can get for their scientific study, the better chance they have at figuring things out. But at what point does scientific interest cross a line? When does it go from pure scientific interest to enjoyment of having someone reliant on them to take care of them? And how does Alaine/Alec feel while acting as the guinea pig, more and more pregnant each time Robin/Ryan figures out a new fertility treatments?
