Who: Dasha & Annabelle or Adair
What: Guess who's back?
When: Late evening on June 30th
Where: Outskirts of the carnival
Rating: TDB
Status: New
In retrospect, the note to Arkady had been a bit cryptic. Perhaps a short conversation about why she needed to leave for several weeks might have been simpler and less melodramatic, but it would likely have involved explanations, and Dasha wasn't one to divulge more of her personal business than was strictly necessary. She was, however, a person--for certain corpsified values of 'person'--of her word, and as she'd promised in her letter, she was back, just after sundown, before the month's end. She was also--though she'd made no mention of it in her correspondence--looking a bit worse for wear in some ways, and better than others. There was a tired look about her, as if she hadn't been sleeping well--a silly idea, as vampires didn't really need sleep--but she moved with a renewed air of strength and predatory grace as she made her way across the open field in which the carnival had set up shop, drinking in the familiar sounds of the evening's first business.
