When Rupert heard the words of Fred's spell, he knew how she had decided to kill him. Somehow, it seemed fitting - a man who had no true heart killed by the destruction of his physical one. He quietly released the body from the wall, letting it slide down to the floor.
At Fred's question, he furrowed his brow. "Cassidy?" He looked around, seeing the book sitting on the table. The little bitch was supposed to be in jail for what she had done - Ethan must have done something to get her out.
And the girl must have been hard up if she had moved in here with him. But that also meant she was probably in on Ethan's plan to hurt Fred.
"Oh, I think we should leave it here for her to find. I also think that we should take of the little bitch once and for all," he said. Going over to Ethan's body, he dragged it over to the center of the room. He then called Cassidy's book over, needing something of hers to set up the spell he cast over Ethan's body.
Once he was done, he stood up. "There. The minute she touches his body, they'll both go up in flames. Along with the rest of the house, I'm afraid."
He took Fred's hand. "I believe we have some shopping to do?" he asked.
