Fred nodded and followed Rupert out of the penthouse and down to the street. She kept up with him and when they got to the townhouse, she smirked when she saw Ethan was trying to make his escape. Following Rupert, she went up to the door and stepped inside. With a wave of her hand, the door closed behind her and securely locked. Ethan wasn't going anywhere.
"We have a lot of things to discuss with him," Fred said with a nod.
Ethan looked up at her with wide eyes. "But you're supposed to be dead!" he exclaimed. "I put..." He trailed off, knowing it was probably best if he closed his mouth.
"But I'm not and now you're going to pay," Fred said before she started to pace the room. Magic was coursing through her and she wanted nothing more than to kill Ethan on the spot but she would wait for Rupert. She didn't want to mess any of this up because she couldn't keep her patience.
"And what are you going to do, pet?" Ethan asked with a laugh. "Your magic is nothing compared to mine."
Fred stopped in her tracks and looked down at Ethan with a smirk. "Are you sure about that?" she asked while quirking an eyebrow.
"You draw your power from Ripper."
With a small laugh, Fred shrugged. "Keep believing that," she said.
