Who: Delilah and OPEN What: We don't need no education When: Current, late afternoon Where: Pack farm Warning: Temper tantrum, ho!
Typical of any other teenager-- no matter who they were, where they were from, or even what they were-- Delilah thought she knew everything. Or at least everything that mattered.
Which would be why she was currently having an unholy hissy fit the likes of which was both unexpected and unprecedented from the pup who spent most of her time quietly talking to herself. All because Tabitha had tracked the wandering girl down and informed her in no uncertain terms that despite turning 16 two weeks ago, she most certainly still needed to go to school. Apparently she had had far long enough to acclimate to gaining fur, and the presumptuous woman had decided it was time for her to just keep pretending she was human, like she was normal, like she was ever normal.
No. Way. No way. No way.
That bitch had even procured papers to register her with, a new fake birth certificate and social security card and falsified homeschooling records all from one of their packmates living outside of Corvallis. Which had sent Delilah on a shrieking tantrum through four pack houses, a good part of the woods, and halfway across the county, a trail of overturned furniture and outright threats and startled expressions left in her tiny wake.
She slammed open the door of the alpha's farmhouse hard enough to make it bounce off the wall back at her, looking for all the world like a wild child with her cutoffs and torn tank top and scraped knees with leaves and twigs caught in her loose tangled hair and fury in her eyes. Lilah always felt safe here, so it was as good a place as any to make a stand against Tabitha when she inevitably found her once again.
She didn't even see anyone around, but that didn't stop her from stalking into the house, screaming her denial and stomping her bare foot. "I'm not going! You can't make me! Oh no, oh hell no! No! No! No no no no NO!""
